Her eyes fixated to the three walls, observing, listening smiling to the song of Hjyng. Just a quirk of a brow indicated that she registered Mash's question until the clockwork on leftmost wall changed to represent a room, with Mir herself there, staring back at her other self and behind her Maelfina's form studying the same visage.
-- “... naturally, yes, I intend to”, she replied to Mash sort of absentmindedly.
She said a word and the scrying was broken and the haphazard clockwork returned into sight.

He stared at the image she conjured, pondering the weight of the answer she had just given. It was pretty much what he expected, not that it made him feel any better. He was sure his Mir would want him along, but as for the one sitting next to her, he couldn't tell. "Yeah, I'm selfish" he concluded, before he answered.
- I'm sure she'll be curious, but what would you do in the event she decides that she doesn't want to leave all that she had achieved here behind?
"And me" he wanted to scream as an addition, but could force himself to stay as calm as possible in a situation like this. He was happy for both that there was finally a goal in sight, to find out the wheres and whys, but it was also a heavy rock on his heart, because of the nonchalant way she said that sentence.

The question made her fall into thoughts for a while, her gaze observing the progress of ascend through the rock. It was a very good question indeed. Curious? Certainly. Leave things behind? Not quite so certain. There, however, was not much stopping her from returning eventually. She'd understand that, and no matter what, she was essential to be taken along.
Mir sighed softly as she thought forth and glanced at Mash. He had to be taken along also, otherwise her other self would never agree to go anywhere. Frowning Mir pondered the situation, calculating possibilities as she pinched the bridge of her nose. The other had grown fond of a multitude of mortals over time. What if she decided to have some of them along also? There was space on Hjyng, that wasn't an issue, but it presented another dilemma – dilemma of who was on side of whom, and mortals had an uncanny ability to cause problems between themselves, arguments, even fights.
Muttering something Mir stopped the chain of thoughts – problems would be dealt with if and when they presented themselves.
-- “She'll understand the gravity of this”, she said to Mash and paused a moment before adding, “and don't worry, you won't be separated from her – she'd not go anywhere without you.”

He sighed relieved, nodding to her answer. He knew that of course, but he also knew in which way the two women differed. And he had no intention of fighting this one. He wasn't afraid of her, not after all that happened, and against whom he already swore to tear down the heavens themselves. He was afraid of what would happen to his Mir, should this one perish. She clearly disliked the fact of others then themselves tagging along, but there's that. She ran from the problems, left the reigns of the body to the other, and that one is a lot more amiable with mortals. He also felt some of her problems, as faint echoes in his head. She felt them all a liability, anyone that wasn't her. Not much though, to resolve this, other then make her experience the life his Mir has. He smiled at that thought, predicting a disasterous result.
- I hope Alice can keep up with your Hjyng. Plus.. you can use all the help you can get, on your journey home. Millenia have passed, who knows what's out there where you once traveled. Also.. do you even know the way home?

She smirked, but the smirk soon changed into a ponderous pout.
-- “Alice can't keep up with Hjyng on her own – nothing can – but Hjyng can keep her in “tow”, so to say, to pull her along. But where to head to...”, she replied and quieted down to watch the walls again.
The imagery on the walls changed in rapid succession, showing Toril shrinking into a tiny dot among myriad other dots, some dimmer, some brighter, a curved line being gradually drawn to connect its dot to another somewhere immensely far away. Then the image tilted, rotating, the clockwork superimposed over it as it was slowly spun backwards, backwards in time, shifted to present the past, and then spun forward in time to approximate the present orientation, the curvature of the connecting line flickering and bending, oscillating along the changes made.
Although eventually the image stabilized, the drawn line didn't cease warping and changing form, which seemed to disturb Mir a great deal, as if it was unsure how and where to settle. Sighing she said something and the line fixed into one of the multiple choices.
-- “That'll do...” she muttered and tilted her head, studying the image a long while. “Not quite optimal, but that'll do until we see for ourselves out there if tuning is required. An awful lot can change in relatively short time...”
Then she smiled more cheerful, and obviously more than anxious about the voyage ahead.

He smiled as she plotted the course, which smile then turned into an awe stricken expression at the capabilities of her ship. He did settle in with the thought that in some strange twist of fate, he ended up with her. She was a lot calmer then during their previous encounters, which he accounted to the fact that she had time to clear her head. Yet, he also felt that the time she was forced to spend on Faerun left scars that would take longer to heal then his lifetime. He sighed, thinking of his version of the woman, and amused himself with the thought of what face she'll make when he.. or they return to Sigil. That thought, made him speak again.
- Oh right... you probably want to aim for our home, if you plan on picking her up. I doubt that even your strength could match that of Her Serenity.
Then he leaned back in the chair, making himself comfortable, glancing about the room. Something caught his eye, on one of the shelves. A single, white tuft of fur encased in glass. He took a good glance, and then with a perplexed expression, he mumbled.
- So.. the wolf.. that was you, too.

She looked at Mash with an amused expression, bursting then into short laughter.
-- “Match the Lady? I may be reckless at times, but I'm not suicidal”, she snickered and shook her head, her gaze following the man, nodding to him at his question, “the wolf, yes, so I was.”
The visual in the middle wall cleared as Hjyng slowly rose above ground level, the muffled rumble of rock gradually ceasing, and then it finally stopped ascending and settled to hover a few hundred feet up in the air.
Mir exchanged a few sentences with the craft, after which both quieted down until Hjyng begun to sing again as a choir. Mir closed her eyes, listened, and smiled when the reality seemed to take a whirlpool spin, and after a moment they were staring at the night of Karasuthra instead of the desert landscape of Anauroch.

He blinked, glancing at the night time landscape.
- That was.. fast.
It was entirely different then their normal plane shifts, felt a lot more like stepping through a portal then travelling to the ones Alice created in her path. He missed the feeling of being torn to little pieces, loosing himself as an entity. He shook his head, loosing the feeling, and turned to her again.
- Don't really know what time it is in Sigil, chances are she's strolling around somewhere. Well, you know where the house is, can wait there for her.
Then he snickered.
- I wonder what face she'll make when she sees the new craft hovering above our abode.

Snickering she grinned and nodded, being well able to imagine the other's expression. A few words were again exchanged between Mir and Hjyng, and the craft made a slow arch, gliding without hurry over the landscape.
Eventually they got the white marble house into sight, and then stopped right above it.
-- “Alright, lets go see if she's at home. If not... well, there's always other things to do while waiting”, Mir said chuckling and rose from the couch, soon leading Mash along the same passage they initially arrived.
After a while they arrived to another set of double doors, which as approached opened almost inaudibly, and beyond them spread the star and moon lit landscape, they themselves rather far above it.
Mir admired the sight a while and then grabbed Mash firm from under his arms, launching them both into dive. Soon she spread her wings though, decelerating the descend so that they landed softly outside the house.

He chuckled as they soared through the skies, enjoying the sight thoroughly.
- Well, we really need a pair of these for my Mir, too. And it's usually me doing the carrying aroun - he grinned at her.
Once they landed, he took the position up front, heading straight to the entrance, and using his key to unlock the door. For a second, he glanced to the left, where his Shade was parked, still crippled by the way the one standing behind her left. He tried to get the wings of the jammer back in shape and place, but it needed the capable hands of its creator. He frowned, as he went inside.
- You really had to beat her up this badly? I happen to love that ship, y'know. - then he spoke to the darkness inside their home - Love, you here?
