Biography: Little is known about Leyana's origins and how old she is. What she does know is that she emerged from a waterfall, which acts as her source of immortality.
A member of the Winter Court, Leyana often travels from plane to plane when called upon by the higher power she serves, enforcing the coming of winter when it is the prime's time. Unlike some of her more harsh and malevolent cousins, Leyana is a supporter of the Cyclical Reign, a belief among the fey that all seasons have their turn upon the throne. To her, this balance plays a critical part in the preservation of life and the sustainability of the prime's natural environment, culling the overgrowth of spring and cooling the lands of summer to allow for another prosperous blooming the following season.
While sympathetic towards those that have encountered her more sinister cousins, Leyana teaches mortals that the Unseelie Court are not predominately evil, but simply embody the aspects of winter. While winter can sometimes bring a harsh blizzard, winter can also be gentle and cool. Regardless, she often cautious mortals to be wary of strange fey in general, to include the Seelie who are often mistaken for all being benevolent. Summer, after all, can be just as harsh and as deadly as winter.
While in Sigil, Leyana often offers her services as a dream therapist, helping those that suffer from frequent nightmares and traumas. She adores learning about mortals and how they spend their time, finding it fascinating what they choose to do with their lives. She prefers the company of goodly-aligned individuals and previous experiences have led her to shy away and keep her distance from notably evil or troubling people such as fiends.
