Basic Information
Name: Arvolexia
Aliases: Vex, Star, Cosmic, Lexi
Gender: Female
Race: Alu-Fiend (offspring of an Incubus and a female Human)
Age: Unknown
Profession: Unknown; Though she appears to be in Sigil for a reason.
Languages: Common, Abyssal, Infernal
Accent: Her words are spoken crisply and elegantly, as designed by her formal education and upbringing. But given her heritage and inclinations, her words are also oft spoken musically or with rhythm.

Physical Information
Height: Average to Short
Weight: 115 lbs
Body build: An hourglass figure; slender, but with provocative curves.
Scars: She does not seem to bear any scars or blemishes presently, though this may be an affect of her abyssal blood.
Tattoos: Though Vex does not appear to have tattoos, her skin has been printed all over with pale-golden markings and runes, many of them too archaic to be discerned easily, but characters with deeper knowledge of spellcraft and/or lore may be able to divine something from them. ((If IC, you can send a tell in-game to inquire.))
Hair: Her hair is long and scarlet, cascading in ringlets past her shoulders.
Eyes: The color of her eyes seems to change dependent upon her mood or health. At base, they lack mortal "white" and instead appear to be blooded, while her irises are golden. Passionate feelings seem to brighten and intensify their hue and luminescence. Frail health or emotions of depression/lassitude will dim them.
Skin: Her skin is peachy in hue, though demonic freckles line her temples, nape, shoulders, elbows, and knees.
Horns: Her horns are short and appear reddish and scorched at the base, then creamy-white as they taper off.
Tail: Extending from her back is a long, fleshy, black tail with a spade shape at the end.

Mental Information
Alignment: Unknown
Philosophy: Unknown
Deity/Beliefs: Unknown
Personality:
Inquisitive Frequently asks questions, often going to whatever lengths she deems necessary to get the information she is after. Mischievious At least, she seems to be up to no good... A Temptress Whenever dreaming something up, she seems keen on involving others, if only to twist them into her obscure schemes...whatever they may be...and she isn't above exploiting feminine wiles. Hidden Despite her outgoing nature and the illusion of openness that she presents, Vex rarely speaks of home or her life before Sigil. When she does, she glosses over the facts--or twists them to her purposes, unbeknownst to her audience. [/li]
Additional Information
Gear: Typically, she garbs herself in richly embellished, tightly fitted courtesan's apparel; this includes leather garments, dark satin gowns, and other scandalously cut trappings.
Jewelry: As a creature of comfort and wealth, she decorates herself in an array of gemmed rings, anklets, and bangles of gold; teardrop earrings and jeweled studs; but only two necklaces--one being an innocuous black band, and the other a fine chain bearing a heavily enchanted loop of gold. Within the loop rests a pearly glass bead, but it appears to do so magically and lacks a setting; the nature of the enchantment upon it would require closer scrutiny...(( You can investigate IC. ))
Habbits/hobbies: Has a tendency to "toy" with people, both physically and emotionally, but whether this is for amusement or another purpose is unclear.
General Health: She is youthful and vigorous; watchful characters may note that her movements are often "feline" in skill.

Of Delicate Webs and Spiders

From the crenelations of a merchant terrace, a pair of syrupy legs dangled, poised high above the Sigil bazaar like a pair of fleshy ornaments. Attached to them, an elegant feminine figure sat nestled between the stone merlons, staring down upon the sea of drab awnings in the commons below. The alufiend's fiery eyes roamed over the dilapidated wood stalls, dancing from one to the next until they tarried and settled upon one.

There, ensconced within the wooden slats and squeezed among a slew of other peddlers, stood a tall, shadowy figure. His robe was littered with ink smudges and haphazardly stuffed pockets from which scrolls, wands, and other knickknacks protruded. The man--for that was was the form he suggested--leaned heavily against a staff as his masked visage craned forward toward a customer to inspect some new treasure for trade.

Vex felt her toes curl as she watched the hazy city lights glint off of Marius' bejeweled mask. He had no mouth to betray his pleasure or disapproval. No ears to whisper her treachery into. And no eyes that she could fathom or discern.

There was only the mask he presented.

She could imagine the words as he spoke them, up ahead, out of earshot:"Greetings, cutter. Would you be interested in something to buy or trade?"

Purchase, sell, haggle, and swap.

For every scrap that he took from her, she took two-fold and vice versa; for every request that they made of each other, something extra was given away, whether it was a reason, a desire, or whim.

In the recesses of her mind, she felt the nag of suspicion as she regarded Marius. Though she found him to be an enticing, in that he was so apt to dismiss her charms with a harsh word or a physical push--he was far more interesting to her because of his wizarding abilities and the possibility he might possess the power to outwit her present captor.

A dark, tentative smile pressed into her cheeks as she thought about the trouble he would be getting himself into. She hadn't felt the need to divulge the extent of his trespasses if he chose to help her, but Marius was a very insightful man, with an ace of up his sleeve.

And for his sake, she hoped it was a powerful one.

So it was that outside the auspices of Shardek, Vex came to Marius to strike a bargain.

Marius was cunning.

But so was she.

At that thought, Vex twined her fingers around the pendant on her throat, pressing her thumb through the loop of metal. The illusory pearl suspended within it swallowed up the digit, limning it in a pale white glow. As the light bent over her flesh, she pulled her eyes from the merchant, and withdrew from the edge of the tower.
