Chapter 1: A Puppets Dance

"Don't look at me." The Hin said to herself within the display case. A man continueing to stare at her from the other side of the glass wall.
"Don't look at me." She repeated in a pained, quivering voice. Her two small hands grasping hold of the hemp of her dress tightly. The small Doll like being with the black dress and red orbed eyes attempted to remain still. Her master would be disturbed by her quivering and that would only lead to more mind dulling experiments.

The random passbyer left. The Hins figure softened and she soon slumped down into a laying position. Her head adorned with the bleached hair rested on the wooden side of the shelf. Her two small legs hanging loosely off the side from the upper part of the furniture. Her glance met the moon and the light embraced the artificial red eyes. They glistened slighty, as much as a marble would within such soothing light. It was nearly time for her to return to her crate for sleep and then tomorrow, her master would experiment on her again. Make her his favored Doll.

Blood, flesh, heart and brain. All needed to live. It did not stop the insane master puppet to believe different. He was to make a living Doll. One that feeds, feels and shows emotion. A non automated golem that can think as bright as one. With a wicked laugh, knife to right and needle to left he worked upon the Hin. His wonderful magical hands worked upon the poor being to make her "perfect." His artistic skill was extroadinaire. He did make this first crude Halfling into a beautiful thing... at a cost.

After alot of pain, she was set back to display in her fine black dress sewed just for her form. Her eyes half closed in a seemingly endless tired, dull or perhaps uncaring state. Another stranger came along and stared upon the Hin Doll on display. The hin remained still and continued to stare in silence. The once bright moon that had illuminated her eyes the day before was covered by clowds. Her two red marble eyes, left gloomy in the shade of night. The stranger smiled a little. A few blond strains of hair showed beneath the hood that had cloaked her figure. Her right hand placed itself upon the glass and the nose followed in. After a bit of staring upon the Hin puppet, she left again.

The next day the small hin padded around the shop in unease. Her steps were unbalanced and she often fell. It was the experiments of her master that made her mobility a dwindled story. After the forth fall, she remained on the ground like the inanimate Doll she was slowly becoming. Shocked, her master strided over to her side and picked the Hin up. Her looked over her weakening frame yet her expression remained dull and uncaring. What was it she actually had to care for anyways as a Doll? Principly nothing.

Her master shook his head and immediatly took her to the "operation table." The arcanist gathered his last resort in fear such might happen. He took the divineatory machine and burst power into the small figure but this power was left incomplete. Atleast she could walk and move her body propperly. Atleast that much was granted to her by an external godly power.
"May this Hin Doll be blessed." Her master laughed with a chaotic amusement. The ringing laugh lingered in the small figures ears till she alas fell into an unconcious state due to exhaustion.

She could dance. It was the only thing spared to her in her lonesome life. Bared behind a glass wall amongst inanimate puppets. How she wanted to become one of them. No worries, no feelings, nothing would hurt her tiny soul. She took hold of the other puppet; left arm wrapped around the plushy waist, right in the other hand of to Doll and its frame close to her own. She swirled around in circles in the display case.
“Grant me a wish… just one.” The small Hin smiled a little in her sad way as she danced her emotions out that her face could not express. The small rain drops trickled upon the window glass; the sky seemingly weeping for this poor little “puppet.”
“I want to be free. Free like pollen in the summer wind.” Her soft, gentle, calm yet uncaring and quite monotonous voice echoed through the empty shop halls. Her master soon approached and grasped hold of the Dancing Hin. Her frowned, laid the partial puppet in his left arm and readjusted the dancing partner into its former place. He then took the Halfling maiden back to the crate; placing her within and sealing it. Tonight though, the master forgot one thing; to lock it.

Twenty years, fifteen days, three hours and twenty six minutes. That was how long she been caged within the shop along with an insane arcanist, tinkerer, smith, and puppeteer. Her tiny hands moved upwards, pushing the lid of the crate up. It creaked just faintly as the wood grinded against wood. She jumped off the table the crate late on, grasped the cane as an aid to open then shop door and ran out into the storming night. Her bleached hair slowly started to soak and stick to the girls face. In the distance was a figure, cloaked with a hood. The figure turned. A few strains of blonde hair peaked from underneath the veil and a small smile lingered upon the womanÂ’s violet lips. It was the woman from the other day that had stared at the Hin. Surprised, the little half Dolls tired looking eyes widened. The blonde woman approached and placed a cloak over the short ones head.
“You are Mister Harvoths favored Doll, are you not? I heard a bit about you yet it was a mere rumor that he could truly bring such to life. What brings you out here?” The woman had a melodic soothing voice and smiled at a near constant. The Hin soon frowned and replied.
“I am not a Doll… but an experiment left incomplete.” The blonde haired woman urged to silence, trying to understand. Two hazel eyes revealed from underneath the previously masking hood. As if something clicked, her eyes immediately turned sympathetically. Two careful hands moved down to pick up the Doll and bring her off somewhere. The Hin remained confused but somehow trusted the woman.

The blonde haired woman took quick strides as if she were in haste to flee from someone. With the Doll in her arms, she looked left to right. Suingintou, merely stared up to the woman in question. Her two Doll sized hands moved up and played with the blonde hair that had tauntingly tickled down upon her face as she was held in the womanÂ’s arms. A small smile curved on the usually expressionless face of hers.
The two reached the location the woman intended to bring them. She settled the small girl down to the ground and gathered a strange looking stone. Within the dark alleyway they were in, a sudden light urged and a portal flashed into sight.
“Go in.” The woman smiled sadly down to Suingintou. Mistrust, naturally generated from the Dolls side and she questioned.
“Why?”
“It will bring you to Sigil, the City of Doors. There you may find shelter till you do what you have to.” The woman replied to her query. Suingintou sighed but alas nodded and stepped closer to the portal. Facing it, she asked one more question.
“Why do you help me?”
The woman smiled and replied. “Because I am sure we will meet again.”
With that, the Doll asked no more and went into the portal to start a new life or continue one in act of revenge.

Chapter 2: My Power for Vengeance

She was here, within Sigil; the city that was rumored to be the key to everything. Here she could deffinately plot her vangeance upon her master without being disturbed too much, unless the man would find out she is located here. Perhaps he'll send his animate Dolls after her to get her back. It was very likely, she knew. She looked to the little knife at her belt that she had stolen from the shop before leaving. It was a fragile thing and only serving the purpose of decoration. She frowned and bit her lower lip in anger, knowing it would have been better to take the kitchen knife.

Her glance ascended back up to view the city. She pondered and looked back down to herself. She had nothing but cloak, dagger, dress, belt and cloak; no piece of currency. She never needed it to begin with though. Her master always bought food for her.
"You always have to keep your experiments in best condition." She cringed as she mused the quoted text to herself that she had heard a friend of her master say one day. With annoyance she moved towards the center of the Bazaar, the bar.

It took but a few days for the Doll Hin to find her master she could leech power from; a noble and good hearted paladin. It was to be expected that she would get hold of such a soul. It was for her better but his loss. With the power the medium, her master, supplied she could take on anyone in due time. To further, her master also had great Divine power. She could put this to great use. Sadly, she must becareful though for when she over exhausts her master with her massive spellcasting, her powers might dwindle till he returns back in a fit state... unless she overexagurates to the point she kills her medium. No, she couldn't allow that, the man was strong and she had to put him to use propperly. That poor paladin... Animus.

On a further note, she now she could even improve on other skills like stealth. The Divine power seemed to come naturally, a blessing in both ways. She aswell could weave spells into her gear now and her blade she could summon at will. Suingintou, smiled just a little to herself at her success in finding this master. It was a pleasent way to get one too... it took just but a kiss.
