A bit more information.

He's a native to Sigil. His family "The Bubblebums" have lived in Sigil for four generations, that makes Sigil the only place he can call home. Unknown to most, he often wonders about if he has family back on the Prime. He's eager to adventure as long as it remains in Sigil, he is less inclined to go through the portals. However, it isn't impossible to get him to go through. With the right motivation and the right person it can be done.

The Cautious Tiefling

"Tieflings aren't so bad, if you can get past the smell." - Namomed Bubblebum

For generations has the Bubblebums seen and encountered tieflings, as they seem pretty common in Sigil. I was on my "Retreat Leave" which basically means I get to do whatever I want till the day my father recruits me into the Mercykillers. I sat in the marketplace and I saw many people that took my interest however, one in particular seemed nice enough. Her name was Tanaya and she was a very exquisite tiefling, she had a look about her that seemed to show that she cared but, she didn't want to care "too" much. We exchanged pleasantries and to my surprise she had quite the extensive vocabulary and she even possessed a type of manners that I rarely get to encounter. We engaged in some interesting yet revealing conversation. Oddly enough she was a former Mercykiller. From what I gathered she was forced into them by will not her own, strangely similar to the situation with my father. She had a very strange look on her face when she spoke of the Red Death, I could almost feel her pain. After I pled my case about my father and how he too was going to force me into the Red Death, I sort of lost interest in talk about it. She offered insights and said that I should decide what was best.."Your Freedom or Tradition." Those words didn't help much, considering I had already considered that and that is what makes the whole situation difficult. We then had a akward silence, as silent as it could get in a crowded marketplace.

Though, my tale does not end here. As the sand passed through the hourglass it seems yet another tiefling had gotten himself in quite an issue. Seems a man grasped his tail and set it on fire or attempted to set such on fire. This tiefling's name was Narkona, apparently we'd met before though I didn't recall it till I gazed upon his wonderful tail. Him an a man he called Griff...maybe short for Griffon? Griffion? Griff'raf? I don't recall. They bickered for awhile and me and Tanaya just watched. Then Narkona pulled out a sword but it was no ordinary sword, it was imbued with some sort of magnetic force which led to a rather...interesting situation.
Narkona tapped it on Griff's helmet and in a flash of a millisecond they were stuck together. They yelled at each other about it for who knows how long, till I offered up the Idea of removing it by force....little did I know that a very nice lady, I believe she was a paladin named Tiela, was stronger than she looked and she offered to pull it apart. I then noticed Tanaya cross her arms, which seemed to be very cut and defined though I didn't regard it. Tiela pulled with all her might yet it seemed to harm Griff more than loosing the sword. Tiela then told Narkona to.."Hold on to me and pull with your weight." Narkona grinned at this and happily obliged. Me and Tanaya joked at how he was grabbing Tiela and it wasn't too funny but still all the same. With the strength of both they pulled the sword off even if it did almost pull Griff's head off with it. Tiela and Narkona were lanuched a few feet after the tug and they landed on top of each other, Tiela on top and Narkona on the bottom. Halarious as this was, Tiela then procceded to heal Nark by "Laying her hands on him." It was odd but I assume that is how paladins work. We joked about how Narkona and Tiela fancied each other and Tiela grew bright red and left rather abruptly. Narkona didn't like this and shortly after Griff and Tanaya left he said few words to me I don't remember exactly what it was but it was something along the lines of "payback."

The Foldable Chair "Schmatics"

"Ideas can happen, at anytime at anywhere." - Yps Bubblebum

Today was so exciting and I can't wait to begin starting on my new findings but, I'll have to jot down what happened lest I forget it tomorrow. So I went to the market place today I was looking for a few things nothing to interesting. Though I met some interesting people. I politely introduced myself to a female hin by the name of Ekimo Zhuick, I spoke to her first about her marvelous attire! It was so finely tailored and smith that I couldn't take my eyes off it for at least forty two grains of sand! She informed me that it was made in the Outlands...I'll have to track down the person or persons who fashioned this lovely equipment. However, more on point...Ekimo seemed to take notice of another person. I don't recall his name, as I don't believe he ever said it. They began bickering..about how she thought he "..is up to something...but won't tell me.." I didn't pay to much mind, as I was too busy writing down the fact that the armor was made in the outlands. I proceeded to pull out a piece of cheese and munch on it..when I noticed everyone..standing about...and I thought..man...they must be tired standing..for so...long. I offered a large lady some cheese..but she stood there...all dumbfounded, so I scurried back to my spot and begin my thought process again. Then the man who's name I do not know spoke the words, "..Ekimo, knowledge is power and I hide it well." Since the day this phrase has been spoken..in any language I've come to understand...I've hated it. So I replied..completly out of the blue.."Knowledge is only power for those who seek it for power." I mean..I gather knowledge and use it all the time, but never for power..I..hope.

Anyways, they stoped bickering and by that time I had finished some thinking, I tapped my chin and said "Interesting." Apparently that was que for Ekimo asking me "Do I even want to know?" I shook my head and said "No." However, the kind sir was intrigued as it were. He then asked me to explain what was interesting. After I told him about how some people used horse vomit for certain sedatives...he briskly left. Then a rather dark armor clad man was selling some wares, I asked if he had anything on my list...and for the most part..he claimed "I don't carry trash.." Anyways...I began thinking..again..and my legs were tired at this point..all this standing, I then thought to myself..."I wish I could sit down." Yet the ground was too hard and much to dirty..a chair would be perfect yet I'd have to use on the merchants or hull one around that is twice my size or just a bit too big to fit in my back pack. Plus I carry no bags of holding..and most people don't, from what I understand...that is when it hit me! A small, portable and folding chair...I'd have to find the right wood..durable and strong yet flexible and light. Then maybe attach a cushion of sorts to pad the seat so it is comfortable...yes..yes the Idea would be marvelous!

The Gracious Dwarven Merchant

"Gnome and Dwarf are kin of stone, so treat them as you would your own." - Yvaeh Bubblebum

Today was quite interesting. I was walking around Sigil visiting the merchants as I normally do. Then I made my leave but, just as I stepped out of the quarter a dwarf approached me. He didn't look like the type I should trust. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and we begot conversation. Turns out he was a merchant, now I wasn't looking for anything in particular. As much as I'd like people to think me wealthy I'm not, at least not till I take my father up on his offer. So he asked me to browse his wares as reluctant as I was to browse armors and weapons, seeing as the ones I've crafted were fairly decent. His wares were like nothing I've ever seen, granted that isn't saying much considering I've not seen many merchants other than the ones in Sigil. Many of the items I immediately picked up on and knew their value and I could tell his wares were out of my jink range. I then told him I didn't know if I had the jink to afford any of these, however he asked me which I wanted. I told him the Full Plate of the third enhancement would do well along with this fantastic war hammer that I had no name for. He asked how much jink was in my pouch and I guessed around eight hundred and to my suprise he said...that's a price I could live with. He sold me the plate but kept the hammer. It didn't matter eight hundred jink for a fine peice of armor is by far a great deal. I didn't know his name untill a passer by said it I'll always remember Ovarf "The Reasonable."

The Frozen Adventure

"Cold is cold and hot is apple." -Tuocs Bubblebum

The day started out normal. I spoke to some tieflings and annoyed the mindflayer who was selling slaves. I made my way into the Lady's Ward, I don't travel there often but today was different. I came across quite a group of "adventurers." They were an odd bunch, three humans two of which were brothers and the other was a female who wore a revealing dress. Then there was the tieflings sadly, his robes hid his tail or he just didn't have one. Anyways, there were standing over a hole..which had a portal to another plane in it. Natrually I asked them if they'd planned on going in. They said "Yes." Then later asked me if I wanted to join. Heh, no thanks I thought. Then one by one like crazed animals they jumped right on in. One stayed behind I think his name was Legault..or was it Leagualt? Ether way he convinced me it was safe to go and boy am I glad I went. It was cold...so cold that I thought I might have to wear some sort of goggles just so my eyes wouldn't freeze. We ventured deep into this cold area we faught some lizardmen and a huge Ice Elemental. Then we found Entek and he was frozen solid. He looked like a work of art more than just a frozen man. Any who we then ventured to a lair of frost giants! Who woulda thunk me fightin frost giants! They were tough but, we were tougher. I can't believe how much fun I had. Thats all I remember really..I'm sure more went down but, after waking up on a slab in the mortuary...you never truly remember the whole thing. Am I right?

Alive but not the same.
"Pain is just weakness leaving the body." -Reidlos Bubblebum

Us Bubblebums have always been very resilient, strong, quick and intelligent. So generation after generation, us Bubblebums were to become apart of the Mercykillers. However, before we could become one of the Red Death, we'd have to first go through the rite of passage forged by our forefathers. It was not the nicest of things you'd like to do on a day. Yet there I stood...in front of my father ready for the rite. My older brother before me...well he changed, for the worse. After passing the rite and getting excepted into the Mercs, he became less caring and more cold. Though I've already felt a change..before the rite. I knew not if this was normal but I certainly knew that it wasn't for the best. I slowly developed scales on my body, fangs appeared in my mouth and I started to burp fire. Those were just the physical changes, My mind started warping it became more cunning but, it had a price. I began to see things that were not there, hear things that were not to be heard. This had a grand effect on one of my close friends Sallaria, I had formed this elaborate plot to kill her. Or so I thought, it's what my mind played out. What I didn't count on..was being called to the rite. Just before I snaped beyond the line of sane and indulged in the splendors of insanity, I heard the call.

As I stood there...not knowing what awaited me..I thought on what had just transpired. Would I've really tried to kill Sallaria..for almost no reason? Then in walked my father, we'd not seen each other in what seemed like seasons, as was tradition before the calling. He took one look at me...and thats when he shouted some very dreadful words..."What kinda abomination are you?" it seems he thought I'd done something to myself. I pleaded my case, saying that all this just happend without warning and without any help to egg it on. He sighed and told me to draw my weapon. At first I was reluctant, till he swung at me. Then I sprang into defensive stance deflecting what I could with my shield. Slowly but surly he'd beat me down to almost nothing, as I blocked every sing blow with my sheild my body shook as it it was the earth itself in a earthquake. I couldn't understand what was going on..but some how..it felt right. Then the hammering stopped and my shield fell to the ground...he then looked at me and said, "My son, there is something you should know. You're the only Bubblebum to carry the traits of the Dragon. This means...you're not required to join the Red Death, if you don't want to." I had many questions..like what do you mean dragon traits? I don't have to join the Mercs? Why..did you just beat the hell out of me? Though I couldn't speak the words..I just sat there..and listened as he told me the story of how one of our anscestors carried a baby of a dragon in her belly..non of it made sense..and I didn't listen to it to be honest. Was to focused on my bones not breaking.

All I know..is I'm free....

The "Cataloging"

"What happens in Sigil, stays in Sigil." - Cidem Bubblebum

It would seem I got myself in a jam and not the kind I like to eat. I was drinking, every so happily and I had then decided to take a quick stroll back to my room. Well little to my surprise, I had a few too many and I couldn't figure out which room was mine. I rudely interrupted a couple during their dinner and I abruptly left. However, the next room wasn't as easy to read, I walked in after romancing the lock that I had though I cleverly placed on my own door, and not a minute after out poped a tiefling in a towel shouting for me to leave. Her "acquaintance" kindly asked me to leave as well..so I did, no harm done, no foul play.

Later on however, a friend of mine Raif came along. He suggested that I go to sleep, cause at this point I was quite drunk. I had informed him about the situation in my room, that the tiefling and her friend were Cataloging in my room. He was hesitant but he offered to help me get back in. So after some knocking on the door yet nor answering I opened it up and told him that we should just go in. He didn't want to..but, we did so cause I convinced him.

To our suprise we walked right in on this elf...well..heh. Anyways, Raif covered his eyes as I watched a moment to catch a good glimpse of course. Raif then scooped me up and we bolted out.

I then proceeded to flirty with two patrons at that point, Raif took my mug and forced me to quit drinking.

However, it wasn't over. The next day I get to talking with my friend Sallaria and come to find out the guy I saw knockin boots with the tiefling is her boyfriend/fiance.
She was upset and had every right to be but, this Aasimar Jeric, calmed her down to the point to where it was almost a "scary" calm. I was worried about what might happen, but she kept telling me that I should be worried about him. Later on we went to kill some demons in the abyss she got tired and walked home..I then sat in the tavern..NOT drinking..and just waited for the next day, as sleeping has become little to none.

The Troublesome Tiefling

"When it all boils down to it, don't we all want to get in a little trouble?"- Oryp Bubblebum

As the days went on I could tell things with Sallaria were getting worse. She would come in and drink rum during the day and go killing things at night. She made me promise that I would get the name of the Tiefling I saw on that dreaded night. In great need to help my friend, I commited myself to said promise and waited for the chance to spot this girl again. Hopefully with clothes on this time.

So coming back from a trip to the hall of records I spoted them, Valenfor and the tiefling. I watched and waited..hoping to catch her name, till some annoying human pointed out that I was infact watching them. I noticed the she kept giving him some sort of "wine" as odd as it was I didn't think much of it. I introduced myself hoping to gain the name of the tiefing however, to my surprise a devil decided to pull me away and have a chat with me.

After the chat, I continued to watch the tiefling and Valenfor. She slipped him the wine and his demeanor changed. A fool could see she was slipping him something. After what seemed like hours of protesting for her that he was to be married and that he was truly in love with someone else. I got her to "release" her grip on him. Then the moment I got her name..I was pretty much just ready to talk to Sallaria.

As I waited in the bar I noticed Kelth and the tiefling had went into the back room, I thought "Oh no, more catalogin." However to my supprise he too was just getting the whats what on the situation. We then both waited for Sallaria and gave her the info. She of course..wanted to kill more stuff. I stayed behind, killing's fun and all but really not my style.

I then met up with Razi as she was "Changing Clothes" she's always getting into some sort of trouble or doing something ridiculous. More proof of that is when we both walked outside an ran into that Wulfgar fellow, big bloaks an their fascination with picking me up is going to drive me nuts.
