Upon recieving several accolades in various fields of magic Relowyn began the path of her true great work. Her true interest that she deemed the Sententia Ianus Porta or Sentient Life Portal was the ultimate goal of communication and transportation across the vastness of the planes.
The desire? To create a sentient portal that connected all planes all realms all points in time and space with the knowledge and capablities to allow one to travel to any destination with a meer thought. The gate itself would have to be both empathetic, capable of sensing the needs and desires of the users and intellegent enough to know what must be done to bring about the appropriate magical conjunctions to fulfill the users desire. It would go beyond that though, the gate itself would be a being knowledgable and capable of fusing with a mortal soul to create and become a living thing in it's own right.
After pouring over several volumes and even being granted access to some of Evermeet's collective volumes containing information on the mythical Mythals and what knowledge remains of their construction her thirst remained unquenched. It came to pass finally, that she must seek out a place that most closely resembles that which expresses the intent of her creation, Sigil.
In her studies she discovered knowledge of the City of Doors and sequestered the support of the Elven Council of Evermeet to venture to this places so that she might continue her studies. After several politically charged debates it was finally decided that Relowyn be allowed to traverse the planes to continue her studies of extraplanar and planar travel. With the blessings of the council, she left at once.
