Personality:
Divide By Zero lacks almost any personality at this stage, a recent immigrant to Sigil from the Plane of Mechanus. However, some early qualities have begun to emerge:
- Curious: Div possesses an almost child-like curiosity about this new reality it finds itself in, almost insanely curious. This vies with it's cautiousness.
- Cautious: Div has a healthy respect for the inhabitants of Sigil and their capacity to harm it. It will retreat from any potential threats at high speed, although it's curiosity will drive it to return later at a discreet distance to evaluate even hostile encounters.
- Trusting/Naive: Div believes almost anything told it, until finding evidence to the contrary. It currently lacks the ability to lie or know when others are lying.
- Fearful: Cast into the often cruel and capricious reality of Sigil and it's unpredictable (that is, non-Modron) inhabitants, the emotion of fear is a small, cold glimmer beginning to form in the creature's consciousness. When Div is feeling fearful it shakes and rattles.
- Lack of Focus: DBZ often suffers from an acute form of Attention Deficit Disorder. It is easily distracted by new objects and creatures, forgetting it's current train of thought or actions and rushing over to examine and "analyze" them. In addition, while it does possess some form of computer/steampunk/magical memory and database, this appears to either be incomplete or malfunctioning. It often forgets things or commands told it.

Eating: Div can consume almost any matter, although combustables like alcohol and lantern oil are liked best.

Divide by Zero is a rogue Modron, a creature knowing only pure Law and obedience thrust into the chaotic existence of Sigil. How it came to escape Mechanus, or be exiled, or simply lost, is unknown.
Those familar with Modrons will recognize that Div differs in several distinct ways from the average Monodrone. It appears to be far more intelligent, possesses the power of language and is capable of learning more, and finally, has several mechanisms and modified objects attached to or part of it's carapace not normally seen in a Monodrone. These alterations could be damaged parts, intentional modifications, or possibly a mutation.
Divide by Zero is unaware it lacks pants. Ignorance is bliss.
