A Kobold on the run

There were many Kobolds, that were suppressed by greater ones. Some of them were able to defend themselves, some were not strong enough.
So was a little kobold, skinny and weak. His name was Tinkeen.
Tinkeen didn't know where he came from, since he grew up in a Thieves Guild, where he was held captured and always had to work for them, treated as a slave.
As Tinkeen grew older he tried to escape but he was captured more and then threatened by the thugs. They kicked the skinny kobold and nearly killed him sometimes.
If they drank too much or if they were in a bad mood, they sometimes have beaten Tinkeen up just for their own fun, leaving the Kobold bleeding and broken in his cell, where he was enforced to produce traps for them. When the guildmaster came to fetch the crafted traps from tinkeen then and tinkeen didn't work properly (mostly because he was beaten up the night before) he got punished again. Once the guildmaster himself broke Tinkeen his arm, because he tried to attack and escape. The bones of his arm never grew back regulary, making the arm look a little bit wrenched, all the time.
Life was not very easy for the poor kobold, even if he succeeded in getting more and more skilled in crafting traps for the thieves.
As a result of his work the guildmaster took tinkeen with him on a chain like a puppy, when they went on their tours... not because he liked tinkeen, but he was impressed by tinkeens nimble fingers when unlocking doors or disarming traps. After the job he was locked in his room again and while the other thieves were going to sleep tinkeen had to work on the traps again.
Tinkeen hated the thieves as much as he hated to be caged in. Since he was leaving the guild now and then with the guildmaster to get a job done, he started to map the city and possible escape routes. He started to hide in his room more efficiently, when the thugs came to beat him up and he started to make plans how to escape.
One night Tinkeen finished some Traps for the guild as he heard a noise outside of his cell. Two Drunken thugs came to beat the kobold up again.
Tinkeen suddenly had a great idea, barred the door to hold the thugs up a little bit and grabbed the Trap Kits. While the thugs tried to break the door tinken trapped the whole room with the Traps that were supposed to help the Thieves securing their escape routes.
as he was finished with the last trap, the door flew open and the two drunken thugs stumbled into the room, one swinging a club over his head, the other one, the more bully one with the bare hands. The lust of murder was written in their faces.
But the lust for murder switched to pain and fear, as they were hurt by the traps. There were enough traps to kill a whole guardmen-ship of 6 with their heavy armors, and those two thugs were unarmed. They were not even able to scream, as their bodies were just ripped apart by all the traps. Tinkeen just grabbed the club and escaped the house and soon the small kobold climbed down the city walls and off into the woods. This time, they would not find him, he promised to himself.
He found a place to hide in a cave, but the thieves have already found tinkeens trail
he realized to late, as he found the cave surrounded by thieves, as he wanted to escape.
Tinkeen was trapped and fled deeper into the dark cave, as his eyes are working better of in the dark then the ones of humans.
The Thieves brought torches and followed tinkeen.. tinkeen ran and stumbled, he fell and crashed in a small underground lake, that was just pulling him underground more and more... as Tinkeen thought he would lose his conscious he thought he saw a shining light... perhaps .... perhaps the surface.. an exit... and tinkeen swam into it... suddenly awakened in a strange place... the sewers of undersigil.
finally he found a way to escape...
