In Raam, Tyr Region Â…
It wasn't terribly different day at first from the others before it, being trained as Gladiator for the arena. But then, upon going for a walk, things changed completely. One might think, when you walk through a door to a corridor, you arrive where you think you're going to, but not in this case – the moment I stepped through the door I was elsewhere, standing on cobbled stones of a vastly different city I had ever even imagined to exist...

Sigil, the City of Doors ...
Â… but yet there was something familiar at least, as while I was glancing around bewildered, I was approached by a male of my kin. He wasn't of my tribe though, so... of course I took his mere presence with a grain of salt. However, as it seemed to be, there was no walking back to where I came from, for behind me was a staircase to some other building than which I had just left behind.

In the current situation, as confusing as it was, I decided to heed his words and establish a foundation of trust, for now – but only time will tell if that was just a wild leap of faith, or something else – will see then.

Meebog, as the male introduced himself, told me a few wonders in a row, of which some I saw right there with my own eyes... a winged creature, devil of some sort, was one indication that I wasn't anywhere near homegrounds now. And when he told that water was here in never ending abundance, and costing a mere coin... I was about to laugh at his face and call his bluff, but instead decided to follow him to the efreeti's ”bar”, which was just behind the corner so to say.

It was like a miracle... to have a drink, then another, without making any effort really to gain it – either I was actually elsewhere, or then I was dead... of which the latter option seemed at first the most obvious – how else this could be true?

A moment later we were accompanied by a rather large Mul, Juggra. At least I think he's a Mul for he looks kinda like one. He turned out to be rather likeable fellow – frank and open, with subtly curious sense of humor.

Meebog hadn't been in the city much longer than I had, having arrived maybe just a day or two before me and thus didn't know much more of the place than me, and therefore Juggra decided to show us the places a bit – and to meet the ”gobboz” and ”hobboz” and ”buggerz” he had fought some time ago. Well, it was as good an offer as any to get used to the strange place I had ended up at...

Brux ...
Fargul gave me and Meebog a tour to Brux. Upon walking through the portal to the said plane my senses were ”assaulted” by scent of trees and flowers and grasses, and I stood there a long while just gazing around in awe and not believing any of my senses. The rolling hills covered by vegetation and the nearby forest with trees towering high like mountains – it all defied everything I had grown used to, harsh savannas, deserts of sand and rock, silt... none of which seemed present there.

The inhabitants weren't terribly friendly, which for now was the only thing ”familiar” at the place.

But more was to come after we climbed up the side of one of the higher hills – a river of crystal clear water! Well, more a big ditch by some standards, but for me it was a river alright.

After encountering a few wolves and skinning them for their hides we proceeded further with Fargul at lead to just a while later have our ears register sound of falling water, lots of falling water... And then we arrived at a lake and waterfalls... Such a beautiful and serene sight!

Meebog walked a bit into the water and clearly exclaiming how excited he was. To walk in water... A thing unheard of to me before, even less having experienced such – not until I followed him, wading around a bit before sitting on the beach with my legs in the water to listen to Fargul as he begun to explain planes and portals.

After Fargul's rough outline explanation, but in itself very clarifying one, Meebog grabbed his mandoline and expressed our willingness to show our gratitude to our new friend – yes, what Fargul did, earned him our friendship and trust. However small thing Fargul might think he did, for us it was something very different.

It had been a while since I had danced, not a long while as is, but the first time now since leaving homegrounds behind. However, to Meebog's melody and song it was easy to dance as we showed the merrier side of ourselves to our new friend.

What Fargul did after our little performance, and us three having drank a few mugs of wine he had brought along, made me laugh helplessly – he took a sprinting start and outright dived into the lake like a ”fish” (some creature living in water, I think). Didn't take me and Meebog long to follow, although we had no idea how to swim though – but then again, the water wasn't too deep to have our heads above it while having our feet on the bottom (closer to the waterfalls was a deeper ”pit” underwater though).

After a while Fargul climbed up the rocks leading atop the cliffs, and as it goes, we followed suit... just to be suddenly shoved off the cliff to plummet down to the waters which waited below! What happened next is a bit unclear to me, but after submerging with a rather spectacular splash I surfaced freely laughing. To swim in something what was to us more precious than anything else... to that there is no words to describe the joy.

Eventually, however, we returned to the beach and headed to Sigil...
