Marisa is a relative newcomer to The City of Doors. As many soon figure out, she is a Prime hailing from a land called Kozakura on a world known as Abeir-Toril. There she was a simple farm girl and aspiring Shrine Maiden who practiced martial arts in order to defend her family's small shrine.
How she came to Sigil she does not know. But she was immediately grateful that she was free of a land run by a questionable Shogunate, where political intrigue meant more than an honest day's work.
She is a bit reserved, but can be quite talkative when she feels relaxed. She also tries to lead an honest and upstanding life, though this is not necessarily a virtue in The Cage.
