Whom is Vlen Valmorri?
Vlen Valmorri was born and raised in Sigil by his Mother, Velia Valmorri, a minor noble with a small but well furnished and cared for manor within the Lady's Ward and several maids at their call.
House Valmorri being a rather small house has never had much of an influence among the factions or the many other noble houses but has always been known to produce proud, devouted and goodly sons.. more often than not ending up as talented paladins in the service of Selune that either joined the Harmonium or ventured forth into the different Prime Material Planes and joined in various Campaigns Against Evil... Vlen's father was one of those that ventured forth into Abeir Toril, the birthplace of House Valmorri to join in an effort against the Evils that have begun to spring up and oppress the weak and defenseless.
The current Heir to the Seat of House Valmorri however... Commonly known among the servants as Young Master Vlen or simply Vlenny by his Mother became something different, while still being a Paladin of Selune like his many ancestors another part of his bloodline sparked in him and began to grow at the young age of five, accompanied by glowing lights that often filled his room in spiraling circles. It wasnt until his twelf birthday however that he actually started to gain some measure of control over his blood when he was sitting on the doorsteps of House Valmorri and a small wooden ball flew infront of a hourse drawn carriage.. Young Vlen tossed himself forward and covered the girl with his body, shouting out words unfamiliar to him, hardening his skin like a rock for a period of time just long enough for the horses to trample over him unharmed.
It was then that his mother decided that her son's power needed the proper training so as to not be taken for granted, abused or used for any other purpose other than for the sake of promoting and sheilding the goodly things in the Multiverse.
Vlen is well known among his peers for being both strict and compassionate, never caring what anyone might think of him or expect of him for that matter, as long as what he was doing was the right thing and he had no qualms about speaking his mind whenever his friends decided they wanted to do something that was less than acceptable as a goodly act.
He is also well-known among them for his very large collection of leather jackets, infact... he has a whole closet apart from his regular one, dedicated to 227 leather jackets of various colors and designs, black being the ones that were most common and they were all of high quality and quite expensive... the one thing that the Young Master was interested in induldging himself with.
While growing up he stumbled upon a small community of halflings within the Lower Ward, why he went there against his Mother's warnings and his servants' pleadings to begin with is still beyond the understanding of most of the people around him. He has made good friends with the hin there and has actually come to learn the Halfling Tongue over a course of 5 years, becoming rather fluent in it's usage and quite understanding of Halfling Customs and Courtisies.... Though not too happy with those of them that took up a path of theft and burglary, often sitting a young hin down and giving the poor thing a long disappointed stare before simply stating that the hin was in the wrong.

The History of Vlen Valmorri : OOC
Vlen Valmorri is a character that I have had for such a long time, origionally being created to play on The Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind as a High Elven mage, I adapted him to my NWN2 online experience almost immediately after joining a server known as Moonlight and Shadows as a Half-Elven Sorcerer from Calimshan, son of a human bard and a wandering Gold Elven prince(very cliche, I know)... His story was packed full of drama, action, grief, tests of his heart and romance... It was through him that I met my wife..her character being on of the many to have betrayed the poor sod, though the only one to actually feel grief over it.... He ended up being torn and scarred from head to toe and a maddened follower of the Mistress of Misfortune... In this setting of course... He became an evil, murderous bastard.
I moved around through the various servers, Sundren, Baldur's Gate, Some server havng something to do with the Moonshae Isles and now Sigil... He has always followed shortly after I got to know the server, his alignment varying here and there, picking up different prestige classes though he was always a half-elf and a sorcerer with an extreme weakness for children, orphans in particular.
In Sundren he was a sorcerer and rogue, newly arrived from Calimshan and ready for adventure... This incarnation didnt last long... I got tired of the server -real- fast.
In the Moonshae styled server, He was a sorcerer and a bard..impractical combination however entertaining.
In Baldur's Gate was his first incarnation as an Eldritch Knight and member of the local Mage's Guild, not quite becoming involved in the plots due to my own time constraints and maybe even the cliques that ran rampant throughout the server.
Now I bring him to Sigil. This is his first time as a Paladin, his first time as a member of a Good Alignment, the very first time not being an orphan and the first time only being a quarter elf.. While I am trying to incorporate as much of the old Vlen Valmorri I know and love into Sigil, it's taking some turns here and there but it'll all fall into place eventually I think.
The thing I love about Vlen is his ability to get into philosphical debates, he has his own view of the world, his own view of what it takes to be a valuable member of society... differing between the different incrnations in very small areas though it seems to be enough for drastic alignment changes... In his first incarnation, he desired nothing more than to tear down the State, believing the government and the so called heroes to be corrupt... In this incarnation, it's all about being a good person, heping those in need, healing the world around him and cleansing away the taint that is Evil whenever he gets the chance.
All in all... It's been a long ride between me and Vlen, full of all kinds of fun, headaches and quite a few challenges... I look forward to experiencing him in full within his time in Sigil. I like this server and will most likely be here for a good while.

Call to Arms
Vlen sat in his study, glancing over a letter delivered to him by the Head Maid of House Valmorri, Marianne. He broke the seal of the letter addressed to him to see familiar handwriting, his father's as a matter of fact.
My Son,
It has been 3 years since I have left on this campaign with your cousin, Joal and now, I am proud to say that out Quest against the Lich known as Vlad the Black is coming to an end, in a few days time we are going to march upon the very gates of his tower, bringing the Might and Wrath of the Forces of Good upon his doorstep and wipe his army clean off the face of Faerun. In this, we request your aid, to join us in this Great Honor, This mission of Peace. A portal shall open for you within the hour.
In just a few moments, the young sorcerous paladin was found banging on his Squire's door with a gauntleted fist, dressed from head to toe in intricately designed and ornate mithril armor.
"Squire Beth! Duty calls! Grab your gear, the horses are waiting for us! Quickly now!"

Battle of the Tower
Four powerful and majestic steeds of pure white, armored in silvery mithril proudly bore their masters upon a massive hill that overlooked the entirety of an army clad in silver and white, golds and blues, those horses bore the forms of three paladins of House Valmorri and the would be squire to the youngest of the three.
Vlen Valmorri, glanced over to his squire as he slowly pulled his blade free from the confines of it's scabbard, Wolf Howl being it's name and the blade offered a howl in anticipation of the upcoming battle as he glanced over at his young squire.
"Beth, the battle is coming close, looming over the horizon" He said, gesturing over to the silhuette of a massive black tower in the distance and the shadows of thousands of undead that can be seen at it's base. "Do not let fear grip your heart, no matter what the cause is, remember that today, you fight in the name of good, today the people around and before you rely on us a Knights, as Paladins to uphold bravery, to strike firmly with passion and honor into the ranks of our enemies be prepared and after this, we may celebrate our victory"
Vlen smiled as he pulle down his visor, taking hold of the view of his would be squire as she drew her blade in excitement "Sir! Yes, Sir!" she said at the top of her lungs, excited to meet the enemy in the upcoming battle.
"This battle, I tell you now will be the deciding factor of many things" Vlen said as he lifted his blade to the sky and leveled it forward in concert with his father's Greatmace and his cousin's morningstar, the weapons howled like proud and hungry wolves and a brilliant light shined forth from their armored forms. The three of them shouting proudly, a prayer to Selune and the words that flow under House Valmorri's coat of arms "I fear not the heart of Evil for I walk forth with a blade bathed in Light!!!"
They kicked their horses forward, weapons howling as they tore down the hillside, leading the army to victory against the forces of darkness.

Battle of the Tower part 2
Vlen stood among the carnage along with his squire, blood and gore matted his black hair, his blue eyes brilliantly shinging in contrast to the dark skies even as the sun began to rise over the horizon, Knight and squire alike fought against the evil that surrounded them, blazing streams of fire flowing forth from his fingers and his blade, as he roared prayers and praises to the Lady Moon, hacking at the enemy with all due furious ferocity.
Hours passed by, the Sun finally up in the sky to signal a new morning, burning away the fallen corpses of the undead... erasing them from the earth as if they were nothing more than a bad memory, then the heard a loud shout, squire and knight turning their heads up to the source, a balcony high above upon the highest point of he tower where a brilliant light shone proudly around a heavily armored figure, bearing a massive mace as he lifted a head into the sky and it burned away to ashes under the onslaught of Light.
The figure spoke, a booming voice to be recognized as Vlen's father "Hear me Children of the Light! Hear me! Today we have met with a grand victory!!oday we have passed out rightous blades into the Heart of Evil and emerged as Champions to Our Causes!! Tonight!!! We shall celebrate!!!" The Paladin lifted his gauntleted fist into the sky, evoking a roar of cheers, of victory, relief and pure devotion from others as the masses lifted their weapons into the sky and roared their victory for the heavens to hear.
