Entry One

There is no wind, little plantation and otherwise soothing feel within this cloudened place. It's unusual. So unlike home. Many curious entities are here however and many souls alike. However, there is one that worries me. A certain entity who's name does not exsist. A many thin sheet thing was held within it's hands that held over a thousand souls. Just by touching it I could hear the screams of agony. it was terrifying.

I beseeched it to let them free, yet he was determined. "They are mine." It said. Such cruelity. So many souls and it considered it all itselfs possession. Thousands of souls cry out just because of it. I had to do something. I posed a question what it would want for the book. The answer I got was unexpected if not frightening aswell. It asked for my body. It's words being that he held many a wish to become one of these mortals. My body for so many souls to be saved. It sounded fair but the voice in my head spoke naught to do such. I opted different and rather blindly aswell. With my staff I hit the thin sheet thing out of its hands and soon found myself leaping towards it. It grasped my hair as I held the object in my hands. Moments after setting it on fire. The mysery. I cared little for it but the souls. I could not let them slip by me. They needed to be free.

A kind man came to my help. I know not his name but he tends to wear red metal things whilst watching over others safety. Previously he had taken the spear tip of my staff. Think he was concerned over the populace around. Very kind. However, he came to my help, removing the fire an inch before it could burn off my head. Some man, it and the kind man began talking. I couldn't understand a thing. I should really get to know this language they speak. As it stands though, he gestured me along. I had no where to go and I was scared, so I followed.

He guided me to a massive structure which we went in. Many more red metal men stood around there. Perhaps this is some sort of military for them. I saw something alike it back in my world amongst humans of Tyria. With a spell that regenerates he had conjured a part of my hair back. I was rather thankful for this yet my priorities set upon the thin sheet thing that later, I found out, he wanted. I wouldn't allow this but after he tossed a very displeasing spell on me, that knocked me upon the ground and for a moment, gave me difficulty to breath, he obtained it. He had the curtesy to help me up again. Though, the thin sheet thing was handed over to his comrades. I'll make sure to find a way to get it back and purge it.

Melandru is a goddess of earth and nature. She is a patroness goddess of Rangers, Earth Clerics and Geomancers.

Views of landmass:

Tyria

The goddess of earth and nature, Melandru is the favored god of Rangers and earth Elementalists. It is said the Centaur druids at one time worshipped this deity, but there are none alive today who can confirm the truth of this rumor. Melandru is frequently depicted as a human female torso whose lower body is the trunk, branches, and roots of a living tree. Her statues attract weary travelers. Beneath her branches await plenty of fresh water and shelter from the elements.

Cantha

Melandru is frequently depicted in Cantha as a tall, winged dryad from the waist up. Canthan artists usually describe a severe figure ensconced in an outcrop of Echovald quartz. Melandru's roadside temples offer shelter, food, and water to weary travelers even in Cantha, though such shrines are few, and separated by long stretches of lifeless stonescape.

Elona

Most statues of the goddess of Earth and Nature show her as a tall, winged dryad rising from a tree-shaped base. Many temples use magic to shape that shrine from a living tree; for example, Elonian sculptures often rise from the base of a mebayah or a rooted dreamflower. A cleric or earth mage assuming the Form of Melandru (avatar) has an arboreal appearance, acting with the same resolve as a tree with roots deep in the earth.

About Sylvari and Melandru:

Melandru offers special bonds to speciffic Sylvari. These bonds usually consist of the power over the earthern elements and the access to various spirits that Melandru has to offer. Near endless whispering goes on within the heads of the bonded. Usually these whispers are mere chants, songs or favors. At other moments they are guiding words and targetted at a singular Sylvari. This connection can not be severed or atleast no possible way was found yet. The purpose for the exsistence of the bond is left unknown to most but it is rumored that Melandru wishes to initiate some redemption of sorts amongst the Fey, most speccifically within the Beastlands. Though no one knows where Melandru's true home is, all leads send back to Brux. Though often it is debated every place with earth is her home.

Entry Two:

Melandru ease the spirits. Finally something good has happened within my small stay here. There are many kind souls that like me, seem stuck in the storm. Just now I got to seem them though. Seems I momentarily landed within the eye of the storm to see.

I met this very kind, handsome and rather charming man. His nature is very calm. I haven't seem him enfuriated at all this whole while. His name is Joxan. It seems he is acting as my guide so far. Well - perhaps I do ask a fair bit of help but he seems to have no issue telling me at all! Sometimes I feel like a nag. I should make sure to get him something. I think it was a "gift" as the Humans call it. As my tutor in common says, it is something that is special for someone given over to him by you. For now though, I will enjoy staying at his "sleeping place." Furthermore, this thing he calls "bed." Wonder why we did not come up with something this comfortable back home.

Then there is Mashanie. He has proposed to teach me common and once I can do a bit of words I should teach his beloved the translations into elven. Otherwise, I know little about both sadly. Maybe this will change in time.

The Bond and your proffession:

Ritualists channel other-worldly energies that summon allies from the void and employ mystic binding rituals that bend those allies to the Ritualist's will. They hood their eyes to better commune with spirits that grant great power and protection to Ritualists and their comrades. The energy they channel drives Ritualist skills which enhance the deadliness of an ally's weapon and wreak havoc on an enemy's health. The Ritualist can also use the remains of the dead to defend the living-not by reanimating corpses as a Necromancer would, but through the ritual use of urns and ashes.

Symbol of the bonded: Every Sylvari bonded possesses one of these upon their body. What it does is unknown but it marks the bonded ones from the non-bonded.

Vish'Narish's Eye:

Artifacts:
Melandru's Bonded hold manz artifacts. Cremenated corpses are for one considered such as they are absolutely spirit purged. This allows them to channel spirits within the ash in multitudes and then further their spells granted by Melandru into very effective ones.

However, it is rumored that there is a speccific series of staves that grant the shaman to manipulate the very spirit of a person. Legends goes it's name is, Melandru's Wish and it was heard to be used to shape the very forests of the continents Tyria, Elona and Cantha in the world of Kryta.

Entry Three

It's been a while since I have written within these pages. So much happened that I hardly came about to write anything.

I have met a new special person whose name is Siren. Yes! Siren but not a Fey as I hoped. However, she is a brilliant person with many troubles it seems. I spent a few hours together with her and just by these few moments I already learned much about her. I hope she doesnt think I was intruding her privacy even though she seemed very willing to be held. She did, however act odd. Seems I wasnt all that she imagined or maybe the opposite, much more then she deemed? However, I tended to the ill memories of her body and hopefully the few she held within her head. I always wondered how people can think clearly with a mind drowned in agony.

Lately I have seen a Dragon around these parts often. Mostly at the tiny wall place. I can but recall all the festivities in Cantha about the Dragons, most speccifically the island of Shing Jea. The Dragon Festival was even so great it spread over to most parts of Tyria and Elona aswell. I was lucky to witness one when the Humans invited me to their establishment, Kaijeng back then. However, this Dragon most certainly seems interesting. He mentioned the name Zilvai aswell who is his beloved. Got an itchy feeling of hearing that name before back home but I suppose that happens when plane walking.

Lastly I have to talk about Joxan. Not so long ago I got into an incident with him. I was most certainly shocked to hear that he was uncomfortable with the presents I gave him. Believe it was jink as he called it. I also noticed his distancing from me. He was less pleased to be held then when we met in the beginning. I wonder why. Makes me wonder if I had done something wrong. As it stands though, I wont return to that lovely sleeping place with him for a fair bit. Maybe I put bad influence on him. Yes, that might be. Best take distance unless he approaches. It'll be hard though. He is the first to care about me here.
