With the waxing of the cage's light cycle, gentle rays of warm light drift in through the window's parted curtains and bathes the exposed contours of a woman who stirs from her slumber. With a quiet groan the blonde rolls onto her side, exposing the freshly inked griffon that spread over the curve of her right hip and the concave of her ribs as her head comes to rest on the muscled chest plateau of the warrior with whom the bed was shared.

A momentary pinch of her brows eases with the slow parting of her lashes, bleary gaze soon finding focus as it wandered over the nearby floorboards all the way the the hearth. A fond smile curled her lips with the memories of the place she had come to call her home over the past few months. Shifting slightly on the mattress furs, the bardess' head lifts enough to rest her chin on Kelth's chest so that she might drink in the imagery of his sleeping visage.

For a brief moment she fights the urge to reach up and pinch his nose shut until he woke, the very thought drawing a quiet snort of amusement as she refrains. Her impish thoughts melt into quiet appreciation of the sight before her. The scene was a familiar once, yet no less remarkable with the unchoreographed steps of the bonded dance that had brought them together. Two paths that had, at present, merged to form one road. Or rather, travelled along side one another to form a new one that plodded along at it's own leisurely pace.

"S'not the years in our lives...s'tha live in our years...moments like these, should be there more often..." his words ringing in her ears, Odette presses her lips gently to the muscled mass of his bare shoulder for a lingering beat, before slowly rolling to the bed's edge. Throwing back the warm furs, she stands and stretches with a back-arching yawn in the soft light of morning.

The hulking mass rolls over and glances at the form of the blondine's rear. He smirks and rubs his eyes a moment. He leans on his left side, hand supporting his head.

"Yer up early...come back 'ere. It's th' seventh day o' th' week, means we get t'do wha' we want!"

He smiles fondly, reminiscing how this all came to be, how lucky he had been...-they- had been.

Borrowed time...one never knows when it might come to an end, appreciate every single second...

A light-hearted laugh breezes easily from Odette's lips as she glanced back over her shoulder with a roguish grin. "Since when do we limit that t'just one day a week, eh?" the bardess asks, her amused smirk relaxing into a fond smile as she added honestly "Should be doin' that every damn cycle."

Slowly she turned to face him unashamedly in the morning light, her expression warming further as her gaze danced and weaved over his form to reach and lock with his cat-like irises. With a lazy lean forward, the woman crawled back under the stack of furs that draped over the bed, to take up her chosen place the warrior's side. Upon return, her lips are quick to gravitate toward his in a lingering exchange and an appreciative note.

"Figured I would go an' burn somethin' t'eat while ye were sleepin', but considerin' yer awake now . . . I dun see nae reason t'leave any time soon." Odette murmurs in a quiet tone, relishing in the warmth of breath that caressed her features as she positioned herself on an elbow. An impish grin blooms over her freckled visage as she adds "Or I could just try shovin' ye out t'bed an' claim it all fer meself!"

Finally, she queries genuinely and smiles. "I hope yer sleep were a pleasant one?"
