Nawen first developed feelings for him when she and Ceszar went to the abyss for the first time to work on their skills and hunt. Unfortunately for Ceszar, he wasn't quite prepared for the creatures of the abyss. He lacked the right equipment and fighting tactics and Nawen had to save and revive him during their first time there.
And Nawen, being a somewhat kinder and nicer drow having been away from the underdark of Toril and its evil influences for some time now, helped Ceszar get some proper weapons and gear and they both went to a crafter in Sigil to have a few enchantments done to help improve Ceszars combat.
Nawen and Ceszar have grown closer during their time together :wub: . They went to see Gwendolyn Arris perform one night and it was obvious Nawen had a good time, although Ceszar was more....relaxed B) Nawens deep feelings for Ceszar were very much shown, though, when he, Nawen and Nawen's friend Lafeya, who was an elven wizard, met in a cave in the desolate Grey Wastes. There Nawen was witness to a certian ritual that Lafeya had to perform on Ceszar. She didnt understand everything about the ritual or what all it did exactly but it wasnt a pleasant one....
Before the ritual was performed all three of them discussed other possible options. Nawen objected to it at first, saying that there must be something else that could be done but eventually Nawen reluctantly agreed to it...and Ceszar insisted that Lafeya perform this ritual also. But before Lafeya began, Nawen and Ces embraced each other and kissed...Then Lafeya asked Nawen to stay back a distance from where she was going to perform the ritual on Ceszar and suggested going behind some nearby boulders to be safe and so that Lafeya would be undistracted. So Nawen went away behind the boulders and Lafeya began to perform the ritual on Ceszar. Nawen anxiously watched from a distance. Lafeya had warned her to stay a safe away from them while she was performing it. But when it seemed that the powers of the Weave from the spells Lafeya needed to cast had subsided, Nawen ran out from behind the boulders closer to where Ceszar and Lafeya were, although she did not run all the way to them. Lafeya saw Nawen come closer and cast a Bigby's spell on Nawen to hold her in place for her own good.
By the time the Bigby's spell wore off, the ritual was finished. Ceszar seemed to be unharmed, but something was different about him. Both Lafeya and Ceszar reassured Nawen that he was still alright. The 3 of them talked for a while, then they each had to go their own ways. Nawen was determined to keep an eye on Ceszar and do whatever was needed to help him if he needed it. Lafeya said farewell to them and Nawen and Ceszar embraced and kissed each other in parting.
Then one day while Nawen was in the bazaar, an man in armor resembling a Harmonium guard came up to her and asked about Ceszar. Nawen didnt know who this armored man was, though she had seen him standing around in the bazaar each day for some time. Nawen asked him who he was but he would not tell her. She figured that he was a leader of some rank among the Harmonium guards. Then he told her that someone had attempted to kill Ceszar, but failed. He told Nawen that it was a female with red hair. He would not say much else to her about it. Nawen knew she had to see Ceszar and find out what exactly was going on....
The next day Nawen and Ceszar met in the bazaar and they went to a side room at the Fould Olde Spirit inn to talk. Ceszar told her that his soul was fragmented; that two certian brothers had a gem with one part of Ceszars soul. And that someone called Jach had another part of it from what she understood. Nawen didnt understand all that Ceszar said, but she wanted to get all of Ceszars soul back and was willing to do whatever it took to get it it all back for him....even if it meant possibly killing those who had parts of Ceszar's soul. Ceszar told Nawen that she could speak to a lady called Kalina for more information, who happened to be Jach's lover.
So now Nawen is going to look for Kalina and do what she can to get all of Ceszars soul back to him....
