//To clarify this is something I do with my PC as a player and not as a dm.

After two conversations regarding conditions at Ameln & Ghelin Caternia returns to her office and taking a dark quill she dips it into a inkwell and begins to pen a letter

I have been made aware of legal proceedings brought by the owners of Ameln and Ghelin and their employees.  It has been brought to my attention that working conditions in the factory are beneath the minimum legal requirements.  As working conditions often prove fundamental to the resolution  of such labour disputes I feel it prudent to have the premiss (see attached address below) inspected. The results of such an inspection will I feel prove valuable evidence in any up and coming legal hearing.  I feel in this case we exercise our legal right not to give notice before the inspection gets underway.

She then begins to write a second letter this one addressed to Ameln and Ghelin.

It has been brought to my attention that  you wish to bring legal action against the Employees of Ameln and Ghelin.  I feel I should notify that any evidence that you wish to be admissible in court will need to be submitted to The Fraternity.  As this is a labour dispute I would request that you and your legal counsel forward the contracts of the workers against whom you wish to take action so as that the court may familiarize itself with them and any breach of contract you wish to highlight be quickly identified.  This will help greatly in ensuring a swift resolution to this matter.

When Measure V Thaseld arrived there with his squad he had the unpleasant surprise to see the workers weren't alone. They had quite an escort composed of random bashers that didn't claimed to be anything more than "hired mercenaries" or "helpers" how these workers where able to earn sympathy so quickly was surprising, but somewhat expected.

Opportunists, vigilantes, and honest concerned people where part of the mob and Thaseld as a paladin wasn't that kind of man willing to resort to violence to impose order, the claim of the workers seemed to be legitimate after all, but things seemed to be sliding the path down to illegality. He decided that his men will simply camp there as well, in order to "facilitate mediation". Both side ended up looking at each other from a 300 meter distance. The mercykillers led by the Justicar Vashtar soon joined them, looking a little more agitated and eager to provoke hostilities.

The situation was now to a standstill, as negotiations seemed to begin. Both side sent their version of the contract to the Guvners, both where slightly different and advantaging each other.

Fated Sillxhistraja, today known as Sall, visited the place of the protest, watching what happens. It seems there was quite an uproar. Fortunately, her arrangements for a guvner made chances of favorable negotiations better.

Or worse.

Many eager hands were waiting for the sign of trouble, but that was not important. Too many Factions became involved, the open fight threatening to level the ward and sow discord.

Now, however, dark elf was interested in another part of things she needed to do. With that, Fated started to look for the leaders of the workers' union in the crowd.

Caterina sighs, if there is one thing that earned her ire it was inconsistent paperwork. She began pairing of the copies of each contract, then she noted down the inconsistencies in each one. Then she made a list of the signatories, the witnesses and the notaries of each. Armed with the information she went over to whichever Fraternity Bureau held employment record and showing her badge she began the long and grueling task of combing the Fraternity's records of each legal agreement between Amlen and Ghelin and each employee. One side or the other had altered their side of the agreement, and should she ever find out which they would amongst other things be getting a bill for her time.

((To make things a little clearer and easy to follow between all the individual actions, I'd ask factioners to continue or start a thread in their respective forums.))

Those who were among the striker ranks could quickly notice that the situation was becoming increasingly confusing. Apparently it was like all Sigil had decided to help them at the same time, for many clear and shady reasons.

The doomguard was trying to convince them to work for entropy, Bleakers trying to explain the workers they'll help them and that it doesn't matter if they did loose their job, scandalized indeps barging about this injustice and seeming to be somewhat closer to the strikers, shady hooded figures coming back and forth, vigilantes, kids selling foods and carrying message, prostitutes, mercenaries. People also started to occupy the factory and builds shacks around it, some even started to build barricades.

The rumor spread quickly through Sigil, another factory also started a strike then another...
