Carnival!
Hear ye young and old the inter-planar carnival as finally returned to Sigil. It is once more time to revel to your heart's content. Don't be one of those sad sods missing out on what may just be the funniest, greatest most memorable day of your life. Bring the whole family there is enough entertainment to fit everyone's particular taste. There will be a abundance of cheap food and drink,street entertainers of the finest class,fortune tellers and much much more. The takers along with independent arrangers will host a multitude of gambling enterpises during the festivites. Nightmare races, critters through mazes racing, dice games just to name a few. Beware of unserious individuals and charlatans. And of course our grand attraction the tournament in the limitless popular new card game that have reached planes far beyonde the bondaries of the cage.(((Midnight's event see the seperate thread for details.)) Taxes on all winnings will be set at ten per cent. Cheating and even attempt to cheathing will be dealt with severly. But with all irregulars hosting them how can they keep track? ((Expect random events when a DM/EM is on))
Strongman competiton!
Having a talant for heavy hauling? This is your thing then. An exellent exuse to flash and flaunt your masuculinity and manly strenght even if you're no man! For you out there that just don't take this contest seriously only interested in viewing scanty dressed males displaying their muscles please refrain from coming, this is a serious competition for sportsmen and our competitors deserves to be respected as such. Wrecking constest!
Your skill at tearing things put together apart will be tested to the breaking point. Bring your deadliest chivs and spells and wreak unbridled destruction to a wide array of particularly careful choosen target by our generous sponsors at the Armoury. Bring forth that inner child and delight in the toy-wrecking contest as that wasn't a reward in it's onw right the sponsor has promised a reward to the most talanted deconstructor. Clashing of the fine arts and wordcrafting!
Come and let your minds bloom in artistic aspirations. Whom bring the greatest sensation to the crowd shall be laureate the victor of this contest of arts. A poem that bring tears to the most staunch stoic. A story that forces a eruption of laughter in the coldest heart. A dance that makes the lame feel as they was flying. Bloodsport!
Of course we havent forgotten about the legendary bloodthirst and desire to vie your potence against one another. You fine people of Sigil won't be disapointed in that regard. Having three different tournaments ready for you ladies and gentelmen. ((This will start on Saturday 28th 18:00 GMT and onwards))
The grand brawl: Unarmed combat. Use you head, fist and feet to knock your advisary sensless. You'll pittet against the top brawlers hailng from the far fringes of the multiverse to meet here in the cage in the most spectacular brawl the planes have ever seen and ever will!
The great melee: Weapons against weapons. Any melee weapon may be used to strick your opponent down. Spells of any kind is strickly forbidden. Sneakery and subterfuges are fully allowed however. Arms and armourments shall be provided so that it remains a contest of skill rather than a contest of equipment.
Duel of spells: Your arcane lore shall be tested to the very brink of the weave itself as you are pitted against the greatest acanists of the cage and beyond. Only spells are allowed so scap the bolts and chivs and take the opportunity to contend in pure mastery of the arcane art against a worthy opponent.
Drinking contest!
Have a knack for teeming the vat? You're no alone! People flock from the wide expanses of all existances to be crowned the champion of draught. Do you have what it takes to be the last standing or crawling to see the contest to it's end? New and unique drams tested for the first time will be offered to the contendants by brewmasters of great renown. ((Unless the bloodsport event takes too long Saturday the 28th 23:00 GMT))
