Sil makes her way through the bazzar, and after asking around she finds herself directed to a large building. By the standards of merchant stalls it is grand. Sigil's architecture is a mismatch of stones and styles from many different places. This one appears to be white marble and would look more at home in The City of Brass. As she heads inside Sil first hears trickling water. The source is a large fountain that spurts clear fresh water, too soon to be native to Sigil. It occupies a large bright white marble hall filled with class cases filled with different works of jewellery seemingly organized by metal, stone and style. A number of women, all dressed in silks and veils that would mark them like the building as being more at home in Brass, as would their apparent fire gensai heritage guide groups around the tables showing of the wares. From what Sil can see the work is of the highest quality, but of course she is no expert. One of the sales women sees her and approaches her.

"Welcome, what can we get for you today. Perhaps sapphires set in platinum. To match my lady's hair and eyes?"

Sill expected a peddler with a stall, maybe big tent, but certainly not emporium that was property of Lysander. The rich decorations made her wonder how true are the rumors about the hardheads...

Quietly, came assessment, and with it, plan. First who would meet the brunt of harassment would be salesmen workers, not the owner. Subtly luring them into dropping bits of information would be first step.

Drow smiled to the genasi saleswoman, her fingers brushing blonde hair back.

"You think? Well, that is good offer... But maybe we can settle on something else? Perhaps, silver? I'd like to have good earrings without daily exercises in beating would-be muggers."

The veil hiding the gensai's mouth moves suggesting a smile.

"A very good choice we have a beautiful pair with Gehennan sapphires in them. We also have a range of ornate side arms if my lady is worried about security, how about a dainty but deadly stiletto blade with the same stone?"

"Let's see the selection. And let's not stick just to sapphires. I'll pass on weapons, though."

The Gensai smiles and beckons Sil to follow. She stops at a number of glass cases, she picks out a selection studs, hoops, and a number of slightly painful looking spikes. She takes the first pair, a set oh heavy dangling pieces of yellow gold with a garnet stone embedded in them and a fish hook fastening and approaches Sil.

"What is it you do? What kind of clothes will they be going with?"

She holds one of them up against the drow's ear so she can see how they look in the mirror.

"What do you think?"

Few whirls in front of mirror later, customer turned to helper and glanced at her humble dress.

"Something that would look nice with this, but not out of place. Not gaudy or pompous, but beautiful and subtle. Like rare smile."

She added with thoughtfull poke at her own cheek.

"That's first of three I am looking for."

//Ok back and active.

The Gensai sales woman smiles knowingly, then as she seems to be about to suggest something when her eye is drawn by a man entering the premises. He wears mail that bares the mark of a tower on a triangular background. There is no verbal communication between the two but she points up a flight of stairs and he heads up there.

"Have you seen these."

She shows Sil a pair of silver studs with blue sapphires set in them.

"Smart elegant and tastefully understated."

The pointed hand of saleswoman alarmed drow. Adding confusion to her facial expression, she turned in direction of the glancing eyes only to catch silhouette of the man going up the stairs. Sill did not catch the details of face, but she noticed the emblem on garment, which was something she did not recognize.

Quick to turn, drow looked with renewed interest at the offered jewelry. While it was not her favorite mithral, Fated made point to swoon over the studs - they deserved at least that.

"Oh, I should definitely thank Allesha for pointing in your direction. These hardheads made it hard to find decent goods."

The Gensai glances at the man heading up the stairs, perhaps an unconscious reaction to Sil's words.

"I don't think that one is a hardhead, not this time."

She changes the subject again.

"They're an excellent choice, is there anything else you'd like?"

"I'd like to see more bigger variety. If you could gather several boxes, maybe it would be possible to make educated choice."

Sillxhistraja took opportunity of clerk being busy with bringing wares to slink away to the stairs. Whatever waited her up there, it would make the news headlines.

Maybe.
