My own concern if it voids her ..contract. It will come screaming into the Hive and any creature is allied with or can muster to get back its prize, putting others..how say. In the firing lane. I doubt it have any qalms hurting others to prove a point. We should choose our battlegrounds carefully.

"Then we should use it in a place where it cannae do much and from where we can evacuate swiftly. I feel much more confident butcherin' it after we get Odette back, as opposed t' gambit to find it's fokkin' sorry hide with risk of it sellin' off her soul."

I think that would prove much more beneficial. If we can set up a quick escape, at the very least for Odette and another to watch over her, you may still have your chance to kill it when it comes after her.

Morthos Ashcroft returned to Odette's side to leave what little information about Odette's death he could glean, as well as whatever a contact of his reported about Khazeet's movements and conversations at his bar where the Efreet spoke. He had been taking his failure to keep the bazaar safe especially hard lately, and after Odette's help in the Abyss, owed her a lot more than he was normally comfortable owing.

Despite knowing she couldn't hear him, he spoke as he laid his evidence near Odette, where he knew the others could find it. "I owe you my life, Odette. I promise I'll make that bastard pay for what he did to you... And that no matter how well it's hidden, I won't stop looking for your spirit."

His anger forged into a cold, hateful blade, Morthos left to find out more.

Quinn had not been seen around the Taigh since the wee hours of the morn. Those who stayed would have heard sporadic maniac rambling filtering down from the loft through out the night, at least until Kelth's return.

It was a long while before the summons was answered. Nearly a day before his shadow passed over the mantle once more. His gaze would linger for a long moment on the master of the house and his howling blade. With barely a dip of his head, the weary wizard drops himself into his usual seat.

Xander arrived at the door to the Taigh and gave a knock. Once allowed in, he greeted the Blade that permitted him access with a soft expression and grateful dip of his head, offering a bouquet of deep crimson roses and carnations towards them. He then moved to a chair of the grand hall and took a seat. Largely remaining silent unless greeted or spoken to. Steel grey eyes glancing about the room as he takes in the sight of those present and attentive.

*Eerie, glowing gaze of feline nature followed the stranger's movement. A brief nod of approval given.*

"Saved yer life, did she? Best make well on tha' promise. Nae offense though, lad, but when it comes t'her soul, best leave tha' to me and her family here. If ye wish to be of aid, keep yer eyes on th' one responsible and feed me information when ye can. "

* With icy calmth, the warrior inclined his head to both Quinn and Xander, waiting for the rest of the Blades to answer the call*
