When door opened, Raila was expecting to see Factor at work, but the image of her smile disturbed her even more than undead creature near her. And there was that unfamiliar word.
"I am Raila Dla'min." fighter introduced herself, returning her gaze to same passive stare.
"Not familiar with that tag you said, but I did meet the box enforcer from Mechanus."

"Yes that is exactly what they are, in this case they guard the laws of time and hunt those that break them. As my friend here was forced to do."

She gestures back to the devourer. Her understanding of the cant coupled with her reluctance to use it may suggest she is a prime but one who has been in Sigil for some time. She reaches for a work bench and takes something heavy and metal handing it to Raila. It appears to be some kind of metal claw like hand. Like most of Emila it is covered in dried blood.

"This came from one of them. What I would like to know is if you have seen one? If you have where? What was it doing, and more than likely who was it doing it to?"

"I do. I wish to know about the inevitables. You wish to know about the thralls. I have reanimated one as an intelligent undead for the specific reason it will recall a lot of its previous life. So ask it what you will. I doubt you will have a more straight forward opportunity."

The undead eyes the tiefling as if it cannot decide if she is a potential ally or just its next meal. It lifts its left arm and opens its now clawlike hand- on the witherd flesh of its palm there is still the Half Full Hourglass visible.

"I am one of them. What do you want to know?"

Now it looked a bit clearer. Why look for living witnesses when you can ask the victim directly? Especially, if you can revive them from embrace of death as walking, speaking corpses?
*Dustmen* Cipher thought to herself. *No respect for the body and spirit.*
Ironically, that lack of morals would bring her few steps closer to finding that outlaw.

Pointing at her own palm, in mirror-like way, she raised her head to look in the face of this horror.
"Who gave you this tattoo?"

The creature looks down at its hand a growl forming in it throat as it remembers, the creature in the cage curling up, whimpering silently.

"It was the last Eater of Time. It appeared when he changed me to serve as his agent."

*He does not work alone?!*
Teeth gritted in her bone-box, the horrible thoughts quickly forming in her mind, numbing her body, like a fear would. Transcendent order knew what they taught, for if mind takes over body at wrong times, it could render body dead.

That revelation changed whole direction of this dangerous quest. Many strange visitors ranging from races and trades of all kinds came to this place, but often, fugitives come with two goals.
Raila thought that this one came to hide. Then why he needs agents?

"What is his goal?"

Emila stands back and listens to the tiefling question the undead she kniws the answer to this question but lets the devourer answer. Behind her passive absent minded gaze a cold calculating undead mind is already forming a plan

"It will send out more like me to gather many lifetimes.... he will feed on this time, getting stronger and stronger and bloated and powerful...until he can escape the prison."

The creature lowers its hand again. "I do not know what it will do afterwards but of course I doubt it will stop to gather time. Perhaps it will even promote one of its servant to be another Eater."

There was another question brewing in her mind, but gut sense told basher that she knew the answer.
"Who killed you?"
