He feigned a smile of abashment being caught red handed. "Oh the book? A interesting read that. Is the author the same as this owner you mentioned just now?"

He looked to the spot between his feet. "Down there you think, I'd better get going then." He swaggered away to nearest entry and descended. Useing a scroll of detect undead before he headed into the dark without a destination.

"He is indeed. But his mind has been shattered and he is quite mad now. The Hardheads hold him in a cell I heard."

The wight turns away, soon gone between the people of the Hive.

As Mauric uses the scroll he notices a few undead nearby on the surface- probably Collectors or other dustie supported undead- but none in the tunnels below.

He wanders deeper into the tunnels aimlessly. What most considered filth made up this place he thought, to scour it completly would take aons. He occationally stopped reading the section again and again while looking around before continuing to next place.

His nose picked up a fetid waft coming from a arched passage, following it he soon recognised it as swines. He headed onward until he came to a folorn courtyard hearing a hord in a stampede before it was reduced to a chorus of unsettled oinks in the dark. Boot deep in filth he waded over the to the other side.

In another place, dryer and cleaner than fetid sewer passage...

Nimble hand kept making few notes in the scroll. Eyelids were falling down on tired eyes, but the planning was done nonetheless.

These clues gained from the Derl Ganthess were very important. She already was sure where to find several relics.

All there was left was to gather group and get them before someone with other goal than monetary reward got to them first...

Mauric's aimless search does not reveal many results. The tunnels are many and it would probably take several lifetimes to search them all.
Most creatures that live down there avoid him, the few that challenge him are easily defeated.

Moving through the dirt and lifestock soon gets him the attention of the beasts' owner, a small goblin-like creature.

"Oi, there. You make them nervous!" he haves around with his gnarled staff. "You want to buy some suckling pigs? Salted pork?"

Somewhere else Sill has gathered quite a few bits of information. Now all she has to do is to gather some adventurers and set her first target...

"No livestock today, I'm more into sowing and reaping. Alas I lost my scythe and it probably lay about rusting to bits by now."

He paused scratching his head. "Remember a freaking filthy place and I mean filthy by our undersigilan standars Before I passed out. Heh boy was I hammered that time.."

The destination was clear. And the party of Dace was as reliable as his word. Still, there was a matter of relic and how the rest would expect her to return with it to Cage.

Well, that's a thing she must improvise on...

While preparations for entering Niflheim were underway, a new dip of quill tip into ink was followed by new entry.

Sill was pretty sure that the madman did not mention the Censorium just for laughs. Besides, he was right.

Private Censorium is looking like fun to explore.

She hoped that Lucelle, with whom she was arranging the visit, would not change her mind.

Another time another place.

The guvners got another one over us Mauric thought as the spear was delivered to the gnome. To late had he realize the enemy and signifiance of the relics. Sticking his shattered hand into his bag the warm throbbing flesh felt the cold glass vial. Not entirely without a prize.

((Okay...
Next event will be either Niflheim (Undersigil Scythe optional) or we can do the Festhall. Up to you guys :) ))

Mauric is told that there are plenty of filthy places in Undersigil- a few even so pulloted that noone right in his mind goes there, pools of disease, decay and rotten filth.

It is said that an undead roams this places, a carrier of disease itself....

Later, after the incident with spear, hand and an eager Ogre's club Mauric sees the creature he caught healing itself slowly and the more it heals the stronger its attempts to probe Mauric's mind get...
