Dhaelwen would read the paper and send a copy to Factor Takan or anyone else in the Godsmen he knew as well as house Hiromo with an air of concern for the poor denizens of the hive. "What can be done? Can they be destroyed?"

It takes Altair some time to locate the wayward mage, and a tad longer for him to gather together his preparations for the trip. He stops by the Siren to leave a parcel for Sasha, closed loosely with a seal that, at least in theory, was life-bound.
He would approach Dace on arriving in the hive, giving him a tired nod in greeting. His fingers drum nervously on the guard of a rapier at his side. "So this is to be it..We are going through with this plan?" He checks briefly on a scroll-case secured to his belt and double checks the contents of his satchel. "..Is there anything more we might need right now?"

The ruddy bard starts awake at the sound of a scratching at his door. As his bleary eye blinks open, he picks up his head to find a quill in his right hand and a small scuffed pearl tightly grasped in his left. An arcing line of ink wavers and darts off the edge of the page where he'd fallen asleep. Pawing at his eye with a drowsy groan, he makes his way to his feet and then to the door to answer it. Receiving Altair's hasty message, he simply nods in understanding. As the wolf-man messenger runs off, a certain anxious urgency grips Vyse's heart.
The tiefling quickly finds a seat at his desk again and hurriedly begins scrawling a note, kneading frantically at the little ivory sphere in his left hand. Several long minutes later the bard finishes the letter, folding it neatly, placing it on his desk, and setting atop it a simple, gold ring set with a ruby.
With that task out of the way, Vyse dons his leathers and scurries about to gather his things, his curious canine, Gunther, trotting about the apartment at his heel, expectant. Almost looking as though he wanted an explanation. Having collected all his equipment, the bard kneels down and gives the hound a hug and a hearty pet. "Y-You be good, alright Gunthie? Keep the place s-safe... I'll b-be back soon."
Finally the tiefling troubadour makes his way down to the street, though along the way, he can't help but think that he didn't remember there being so many stairs in the building, or the hallway being so bloody long. Arriving, bow in hand, he nods to Dace, Quinn, and anyone else present. His expression stoic and timorous, but ready.

Dace returns the nod to both the mage and bard, looking at them with a mix of sympathy, shared anxiety and determination. "Now or never folks." He gestures to the portal in question. "This should take us to a ritual site. Slimey one by the looks, and if we're in time, from there to the Nexus. 'Less we're lucky and get a direct road."
He looks to the portal , keeping silent a few moments before speaking again. "If either of you have second thoughts, its... not too late to stand with the group building up for plan B. No one would judge you for it." The warlock sailor glanced over at his companions, silently waiting for their final decision.

Altair arrives with the others, his form shifting more upright as he returns taking on a hybrid shape. Nervously he glances at the portal, the look of uncertainty from earlier growing on his face. "Blimey, 'zat fing gettin' bigger?" He wiped his brow with the back of a claw. Instinctively he took a few steps backwards, glancing around to confirm any exits if he felt the need to run suddenly. The closer he stood to the gate, the more it reminded him of the last time he'd gone in. The more it reminded him of...
Altair shook his head, gritting his teeth in what he hoped looked like determination and not nerves. Tragically, his tail belied his thoughts, swishing between his legs. He really wanted to give Kakos Kruphai a piece of his mind, especially after last time. But he almost hadn't made it out last time. Every instinct he had was screaming at him to sod off and find a quiet place in the happy hunting grounds to take a long needed rest and let the rest of the planes sort out their own problems.
"Let's... let's get this ovah 'n done wif. An' then we c'n kip back 'n time f' tea. Bloody use a spot o' tea I coul', righ' now. Cor."

Quinn dips his head in agreement with Argent and Altair. Fingers wringing a bit of unease from his hands, he turns to Dace and offers the Justicar a gesture of upturned palms.
"There is much that could be said, even now, but a promise was given. It would be inappropriate to abandon you now. If anything can be done to keep all of you safe, it will be. Besides..Should we fall, at least it shall be along side our friends."
Shifting to study the portal with a placid expression, he fiddles with the symbol of Kelemvor dangling from his neck. He gazes into the portal for a long few moments. Heaving a sigh, he turns back to the others.
"I have already made peace with myself and my power. Shall we sally forth on this snipe hunt?"

Dace nods at each of his companions words, turning his gaze to the portal and taking in a deep breath.
"Right...." A surge of crimson energy flares around his hands, with a glow intensifying in his eyes. "Sally forth." A feint smirk crosses his features as he looks at Altair. "Tea for all when we get back."
With that, he rushes into the portal.

"This is terribly exciting" -The elf having given pause for a moment, the cheerful demeanor faltering for just a moment-
"Lets get you other companions a bit of assistance for the parallels of this plane. Looks a tad acidic."
Weaving his magic, pulling at the threads from the void and ether from dark abyss and wrapping them in a planar attuning before giving a final check of his self, he perks back up, giving a brilliant smile and flash of deep azure eyes
"Did someone call for a Dream Artist? I got your paintbrush right here!" - Bracing himself, he runs for the portal after Dace-

The portal jumpers arrive on the other side of the portal, and find themselves sliding down a long slope of muck. Its very difficult to breathe. The eerie blue glow is the only thing lighting the area - a glow which is emanating from a ritual site ahead.
The familiar five pillars and altar stand on a flat space a little ways ahead, surrounded by what looks like the garbage collection pit of the Hive. A pillar of blue light rises from the altar, reaching as far up as you can see.
