There is no admission fee to enter the tournament, however you must enter without any equipment except for the ones purchased at the tournament from the event coordinator. All items will be sold at a 50% discount and are the buyer's to keep, but the buyer must fight in the tournament if they purchase an item. May only purchase up to four items for reasons of fairness. Valuable items may be used as currency but only accepted at the coordinator's discretion.
The amount spent on items will be put into a pool and the winner(s) of the categories will receive winnings. The more participants, the bigger the pot!
Honesty is important when removing all personal equipment not purchased. Violators will be booted from the event and not refunded any expenditures.Â

Contestants will be organized in a standard tournament layout. Each contestant will fight to a best of two out of three. Players may enter multiple PCs into the tournament (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Team Deathmatch) but cannot exceed more than one per category.

An admission fee may apply if there are not a suitable number of players participating. All jink given into the admission fee will be thrown into the prize money pot. The larger the pot, the larger the prize. Admission is charged per PC, not player. I prefer not to have an admission fee, but that's a bit ambitious of me as we might not have enough players to make a nice pot. In the end it's about fun, but I'd like the prize money to be a desirable amount. :P
Tier 1: 100 gold
Tier 2: 500 gold
Tier 3: 1000 gold

Merchants may not sell their wares to contestants unless they agree to donate 20% of their profit to the prize pot. If a merchant is interested in helping sponsor the tournament, let me know prior to the tournament starting so you may set up.

In the event of a reset, bouts will be paused and the tournament will resume immediately after the server comes back up.
