One eve a female Drider of all things, wearing a tattered spidersilk cloak and battered armor bearing the symbol of Illmater would show up at the clinic, bearing bandages and bread. She introduces herself as Squire Faer, and inquires about offering her services as a healer.

Kierisen would greet the drider, with only barely noticeable hesitation. She looks the creature over briefly, noting her bearing and insignia.

"Have you training in the arts Ilmateri?" While Kiera doesn't wear her MK badge, her nine-tailed scourge pin is clearly visible.

The Drider would visibly note the sigil of Loviatar, before making eye contact.
" I'm a trained physiquer and chiurgeon. I also have a small amount of healing magic available to me. I only need roughly four hours of rest a night, and I'm willing to work for board".
She would then pause and look around the clinic, then upwards.
" somewhere up in the rafters would suffice, I think. You're unlikely to find a better offer...and you look like you could use an assistant."

Kiera would nod and point to some of the immobile patients.

"I can't guarantee anything once the permanent attendant returns but for now you have a place as long as you work.

Lys stopped in to the Weary bearing another round of basic supplies -- bandages, nettles, and a few other healer's odds and ends that she had picked up the general list of necessity needs for after looking over Kiera's shoulders. "Never, um, enough of these, it seems... oh, ah, hello again," Lys had muttered before she'd blinked at the sight of the drider.

"Um, seeking some sort of, well, assistance, or there's something else afoot?"

Faer would be busily at work, various limbs set to differing tasks; she would look up while setting a bone then crafting a cast from splints of wood and spidersilk.
" The wizard from the market, yes? Kierisen has agreed to take me in so long as I work...at least until the owner returns. Thank you for the supplies...I'm quite used to improvising but it is good to actually have what's needed at hand for a change."

Finishing she would lever herself over to another patient, pause to speak a minor spell of healing before moving on to tend to an elderly and quite visibly ill human.

" I am also willing to assist with the soup kitchen, though I dont often find welcome in kitchens for some reason."

"Um, that would, well, be me, yes, that is to say, I'm Lys," the wizard replied with a bit of a blink again and then a slight smile before she began to unpack the supplies into separate piles.

"And, well, that's wonderful to hear. We're, you know, always short on help and anyone else helping out is, um, appreciated. Especially, you know, healers," she added after watching Faer with a minor healing incantation. "Just watch your step out in the Hive, um, it's a little rough sometimes," she continued on with a nibble on a lower lip for one reason or another.

"As for the kitchen, well, maybe some of the ones with more sense will change their mind, um, if they're also on the receiving end, you know, of a healing hand. I'm not much of a healer myself," the woman explained while tallying inventories on a notebook, "But if we're running low on more supplies, Tymora knows we always seem to be, or the kitchen needs more help, just let me know or leave a note, and I'll try to see, um, to it when I can."

Giving a smile in return Faer would then turn to start cleaning and suturing a wound.
" I'm just pleased to be able to lend what skill I have. Rough as this...Hive may be it's where I feel I'm needed most. A bit of risk is a more than fair tradeoff. The work will never end, and the more I practice the better I'll become. Everyone wins."

Pausing to inspect her work she would nod then go to work making a poultice.

Over the course of a few days Faer would make certain "Changes".
The upper rafters would be obscured by thick webbing; this would be where she would establish her loft. Certain medical supplies would be hung from various points; the impression of the workspace would be of someone who's used to practicing medicine from weird angles- such as standing on walls, or hanging above. She would go out occasionally, returning each time rather battered and with fresh bread and produce and medical supplies.
