Dace backs away from the guard post accordingly, not being too keen on a fight with a bunch of on edge and possessed Mercy Killers. Once out of sight, he'd try to find another way in, or a high point to look over into. Failing these options, he'd use shape change or polymorph scroll to morph into something tiny- an insect or some such tiny winged thing to fly over and past to get a good look inside. ((naturally, assuming his guest says nothing)) .

Dace would find himself a clock tower. Whilst he cannot get in the shape change scroll allows him to turn into a sparrow and fly to the top. From his vantage point he sees the Mercykillers have erected a wooden stockade around a large quadrangle roughly half a square mile in The Lady's Ward. The owners of the houses there seem to have been evicted and their homes repossessed to house Mercykiller soldiers who now march and drill in the strewts and squares.

Dug in.... but why here?
He'd try to fly in over the barricades to rooftop where he could get a look inside or at any particular gather points, especially if one looks like it would house officers of rank. If possible he'd maintain the invisibility invocation ((forgot if the rules would theoretically allow this while shifted?)) , while simultaneously making an effort to keep out of sight, knowing full well that a sparrow is probably not the most common sight in Sigil...
I didn't think the possessed would need practice... or do much beyond stand around. Do you sense anything? He inquired as they got further into the enemies makeshift fortress.

The invocation once casts holds after Dace's shape shifting he flies over the encampment. Based upon his recent experience he can be sure some of the people blow will see through the invocation, butt hey wouldn't think twice about a small bird flying over head. The voice in his head whispers to him.
"You have noticed a group this size here, others will as well, they will be looking too, I would say if they are to disguise themselves they must appear to be the things that they look like."

Assuming the Harmonium have not issued an arrest warrant , Dace resumes poking around in Sigil, trying to zero in on more concentrations of the possessed and infected agents outside of the Gatehouse.
You said the Reds and that first Uvuudaum were not with the greens in the Gatehouse.... but last time you said the invasion was off of collective will. Explain to me why this colelctive is fighting its own forces then, or how many different wills we're going up against here...
Once again he focuses his first scouting run on the area between the Hall of Speakers and the Ladies Ward. Anywhere where the new Reds and their Factol were.
Or is it possible that they have non-dominating passengers too? Like you?
As before, using a shape shifting spell and invisibilty invocation, he'd try to get into the main Mercykiller rally point, this time trying to get a glimpse of the Factol.
While we're at it...specify; how exactly am I getting you into another skull? Assuming its not black candles and pentagrams, so how does this work?

At the Gatehouse Dace's companion tells him:
"The ones outside are alright inside though it is still there, wounded but still there. As for why they are fighting I don't know. I don't know for sure if they even are but it'd explain a lot."
((OOC: What is he shapeshifting into and how is he going about this?

What would their fighting explain exactly? Seems to bring up more questions...
(( He'd shift into either a sparrow or something smaller if possible. A fly on the wall!))
While on their way to the other wards to continue the investigation, he'd ask his guest once more about what exactly would be involved to transfer him to another body.

As the sparrow flies over Dace gets the same feeling of wrongness as he has felt in the gatehouse. As he gets nearer the centre of the barricades and houses he notices a change in The Mercykillers below. They simply stand around and stare there is no visible or verbal interaction. There seems to be a ring of large houses with freshly built watch towers around them that are the focal point of the encampment.
"Just find someone whose guard is down and get close. Stabbing you worked for me last time."

You feel that....?
Dace flies over head a few times, trying not to get too close so as to be caught by the towers or the anomaly.
The inside's going to be heck.... damn it, we can't go in with this. Well, at least we know why Thornbrews so happy to come out in the open...
If an opening presents itself, he'd try to fly past the towers blindspots and get a closer look at what's going on inside the central buildings. Failing that, or if the nausiating feeling starts to feel too strong the moment he gets closer, he abandons the flight and pulls out.

"Its bad here yes. Just as bad as the gatehouse."
No one of course pays the sparrow any heed. Dace can see the towers are all double manned at least. He can flit down and see the through the windows of houses, the once fine Lady's Ward homes have been gutted and used as a barracks for the possessed troops. So far he avoids the attention of anyone with a trueseeing spell who may see through his disguise of course his luck may not last forever.
