Hasclaan looks up from his notes, adressing the Godsman.

"Would a ban of free crafting not result in many having to join your faction or give up their craft, Factor Ta'Kan?"

Ra'zeth grins at the suggestion.

"Nah, bannin' it be too harsh... let us tax them to th'point where 'tis not worth it on the long run."

Sasha nodded to Mauric after he gave his clarification, and looked content with the decision. She went to get more snacks from the refreshments table.

As the discussion moved to trade, she frowned a little, but listened to what the others had to say.

Charae's eye twitched, a rare expression of anger gracing the dark elf's delicate features. She felt something break in her hand and realized she'd snapped her pen. She set it down, looked at Mauric, and said, "I'd always believed you were losing your grip on your sanity, Mauric dear, but you are truly stepping it up a notch to sink to such petty, sexist insults and hollow accusations."

((With regard to The Doomguard pact I started a thread here so as not to clog this up with more OOC.

"Dear Factor Charae. Insanity is truly not something Mercykiller should accuse of. Surely your Factol is proof to that, with her attempt to force decision of Speakers by force of arms at the most critical for city time? Is that not act of insanity?"

Being silent for a long time, Sillxhistraja bared her fangs for the first time. Drow smiled, but without acid or bile. It was refined politician mask.

"Do not be insulted, Justicar. We are quite concerned about you. Perhaps temporary visit to Bleakers for checking your health might be advised?"

The dark elf laughed.

"Our esteemed Factol was possessed by the Far Realm invaders during that time as were numerous members of the Triad, so her temporary acts of insanity at the time is of no fault of her own. You should know. The Fated kidnapped her before we got to her first and then you tried to ransom her off to the Mercykillers in exchange for us assisting you in attacking Sensate areas of operation, which you were silly enough to think would actually work. Who do you think warned the Sensates? And by 'we', do you mean the Fated or the supposed multiple personality you reportedly suffer from?"

Ra's temper seemed to have met its end, standing up threateningly with both his eyes glowing with a dragon's rage as the two drow began to argue.

"ENOUGH!

We've been here for several painful hours now and all we managed to achieve was stabbing at eachother's soddin' egos and passin' notes like we are sum bloody kindergartners. Either we fockin' stay on topic an' find a solution to th'Doomguard's problem or I'll go to the Hall o' Speakers an' drag a dozen Signers here for each an' everyone one of us... or better yet, take over moderatin' because a louder voice seems tae be th'only thing ye can listen to for an extended 'mount of time."

The dark elf smiled. "Rare is the occasion that I actually agree with you, dear. Now please sit down."

Ra'zeth shakes his head.

"I ain' sittin' down until a copy o' that pact is bought forward an' this matter is settled withou' another word of insult from either of ye."

He then looks to the guvners expectantly, awaiting for them to bring out the proper documents.
