Just a night among the others in the current month, a dark haired, tidily dressed half elf would walk through the doors of the Serpent's Gaze.
Maybe not a new face to some, but certainly a new sight for the establishment, the Fated Factor would glance around the place briefly, taking in all the details around him before moving toward the counter, where he probably thinks he will find what he needs.
Clearly he is not there for entertainment, nor for a drink, and once he has managed to obtain the attention he required he would proceed to explain the small service he needs.
"What I believe to be one of your customers has tried to contact us," he'd explain in a quiet, polite tone, "still, they unfortunately failed to provide any mean to communicate with them, leaving only this place as a possible contact.
If this person is known to the establishment, I'd be very grateful if you could deliver them a reply on my behalf, if not, please do feel free to keep the payment nonetheless."
Thus said he'd offer a simple folded parchment, along with four platinum cogs for the "service".
The message on the parchment would read as follow

We don't have friends who would forget to tell us who they are.
If you are what you claim to be and intend to communicate further, next time do it properly or don't bother at all.
