There is a simple Alarm Spell and an Arcane Lock placed on the double door it seems.

The window above is unwarded, the window ledge covered with bird droppings- and someone seems to sleep up there, snoring.

On the ground there are marks of something heavy that was dragged into the warehouse recently and there are several tracks- most boots but also something that looks like fiendish claws.

She ran her hand over the warded door as to descry what enchantments it bore within the black surface.

"Not hard" She uttered with confidence.

Her daintily shaped palid scarlet hand vanished into her leafshaped satchel and she produced a scrollcase from which she withdrew two scrolls before she returned it to it's storage. Reading from it she chanted the formula upon the first. A faint brisk of fizzeling blue light dancing over the targeted door like a thousand blue needles piercing it than vanising. ((Spell cast:Greater dispelling)) Holding the remaining scroll forth she started chanting anew which maked the massive doorglow in Bright amber before it died out as a embering piece of coal cooling and gradually returning to black going from fiery orange to ruby red to lithium crimson dying away in the blackness. ((Spellcast:Knock))

"There is benefit in dividing but also in a unison of strenghts. Which path will you opt for?" She asked the Jotun while looking to the window above their heads.

Ganatog could see her faint contour pointing a finger towards the warehousedoor whispering- "Mayhap luck is upon you and it be unlocked and unbared? Check if so it is, if locked I can open it from within so that you may enter."

"I remember last we split I ended up with a chest full of acid smog. But I will take the low path, and perhaps cause a distraction of mine own. Is the door safe to open?"

The spells cast dispel the wards, open the multiple locks and the Fey'ri is quite sure that there is nothing left that keeps the door from being opened.

However if this display of magic went completely unnoticed is a different question- indeed the sound of combat from the street is intensifying and looking back they can see their companions knoking down the guard who was about to approach the house again.

The door to the estate is opening and four guards more appear, following the now fleeing mercenaries deeper into town. Being professional soldiers the gnoll and bugbear do not make the mistake to adress their superiors but flee, drawing away the guards.

"No." She said with a heedful tone. "The magic is dispersed, the lock unlocked yet what else be wrought into it I know not."

She glanced to the fighting commrades to acertain they didn't fail their given task. Satisfied with the given sight she looks up to the window again or rather the segment below it trying to gauge the exact distance to the floor of the second level. Once she belived she had it affirmed she cast another spell ((DD)) dematerializing from the Jotuns sight in a blackend ethereal smoke dazzeling with a few bright flakes of light like white burning gnats swallowed by the darkness.

((Feel free to describe them as you wish- some spells are more flashy than others. Find some description fitting your character- after all the FX of Dimension Door spell researched by one Wizard might look different to the one cast by another Wizard and different to the one casty by a Sorcerer. While the spell always follows the same rules the descriptive details I leave to the player.

In general casting can be hard to hide. It is loud, flashy and often it is not hard to trace the effect back to the caster. Some feats help of course- for example Silent and Still spell are a must for every character who tries to hide his or her casting and can be taken in NWN2.
Deceptive Spell makes is hard to find out who cast it while Invisible Spell makes the spell effects hard to see- but sadly both are not in the game (both feats can be found in Cityscape, btw). ))

Maed arrives on target- materializing in a small, dark room. There are two Dovecotes at the wall to her left, the floor covered with dropping despite someone trying to keep it neat and clean.
Probably it is the old, sleeping tiefling to her right who is in charge of this task, his gnarled body curled up under a thin blanket.

Most birds are asleep but a few of the orange, grey and black beasties eye her with red glowing eyes.

A door leads from the room and deeper into the building.

With a mien of disgust she lifted her smeared sole from the soiled floor. Noticing the sleeping man she carefully put it down. Her armour wasnt made for sneaking but she had few options. Drawing her shortsword she aimed it's tip against his throat while she raised her other hand readying it to be placed over his mouth in a simultaneous movement. Each step was made with slow slow tiny motions given the restraints of her armour.

The old man opens his eyes, tensing under the thin blanket but he does nothing most people would consider stupid or desperate.
He lies still, staring up at the fiendling girl, mumbling a silent:" What do you want?"

The pigeons stir, more if this small, beady, glowing eyes fixing on Maed.
