Questions that was brought to mind, how was they linked to the portals , where did they come from, if it had other purposes then what was obvious. His first attempts in researching was seeking any libraries , the one he owned in various topics and the one on planes in reference to reflecting or mirror topics. He often has twisted thoughts when looking into mirrors himself, considering them to be mockeries of the true copy or alternate realities. Just through the looking glass.. .
Once he could correlate all the relevant information he could find in books, he sits down at his table in the heart of the ship, sinking into a meditative stance. He was going try something new, imagining he could get information directly from the shard. Even objects carried memories.
