Following their return from the Demi-Plane of Dread, Aleis had brought herself and her new Shadow Songstress friend to Spring's Court from the Beastlands via a Plane Shift. Where in the realm she did in fact end up wasn't something the spell would allow her to control, nor did she have a particular agenda in that regard.

She primarily wanted to reintroduce the beauty of the realm to her friend and walk with and talk to her to see if she could bring back any memory at all. However, an audience with her queen may also end up being inevitable. She would have to see how her new friend reacted.

The songstress follows along with childlike wonder almost as if everything is new to her from the simple trees to the various animals. The pair had indeed made it to the wandering court but as a member it was generally hard to fail such magic. The songstress didn't seem to recall anything there but some of the older fey houses avoided the pair.

Aleis noted the way that certain houses would avoid her and her companion. Was it because of herself in particular? Or perhaps it was her friend who they avoided. Regardless, with her newly acquired sword sheathed at her side and garbed in her silver armor, Aleis was rather confident in her own appearances.

She commented to the old songstress as they passed a Doe with her Stag,
"Besides your love, you seem to remember song. Can you recall any others besides the one you sang earlier?"

"Oh yes i have made many songs over the years i was lost, Although people don't like to hear them they are very sad and they make people very sad. Until the people no longer want to be sad."

"I think sad songs can be very wonderful." Aleis replied with a thoughtful expression. "What happens when people no longer want to be sad?"

She had continued walking on without a destination in mind. Without connections to any of the houses or truly anyone meaningful the youngest Fey was at a loss for where she should take her new friend. Maybe she had some thoughts on the matter? "Is there anything in particular you'd like to see? I'm afraid I'm not that great of a guide as I am still so very young, but I'm sure if we both look enough we can find anything!"

"They stop being anything" she replied a hint of sadness in her voice "Oh can i see the queen?"

"Well, perhaps. I cannot promise we will be able to but I can try." Aleis had hoped that they would have been able to delay possibly being unable to meet with the queen for a bit longer, but at least it was one of the few places that she didn't have any problems locating. She lead her companion on, still carrying her sheathed blade of spring at her side.

When requesting for an audience she explained that she had news about the Pale Prince and the Raven Queen to report and she identified the shadowy songstress as her companion and friend.

Athaon Morthos sat in the Shattered Temple's library. The Cambion looks discontent and pensive all at once. While, unfortunately, he was off-plane and therefore didn't see the Raven Queen's aspect get flayed; he heard about it. The trouble was, that was just an aspect!

And if the Raven Queen has the power to manifest an aspect... what a sobering thought. Where, in the wide expanse of the Multiverse, does one find a being able to manifest an aspect - a being who likely didn't want to be found?! Likely, where her servants were, but her servants were scattered or destroyed in the attack on the Great Bazaar. With a flick of his fingers, he commands his bound succubus closer.

"Alea, go to the Shadow Plane. Seek the Khayal in the City of Onyx. Mayhap a body or two there would have an idea where the Raven Queen would go after her defeat. I cannot believe a being powerful enough and brazen enough to send an aspect to Sigil would give up her quest for to become a deity!" With a final wave and a cruel smile, the Cambion says, "Return when you have news. But be circumspect in both coming and going!"

He scowls at any Namers who approach him, brooding for several hours. Finally, Morthos leaves the library, thoroughly dissatisfied at a trail gone cold...

Since their return from the expedition into the Dread Plane, Factor Andor only rarely came out of his office or ship. Some rumors began to circulate- that he was not acting like himself, that he sustained some odd injury, that he was involved in some new dark projects- all of which were partially true. The truth, however, was that he simply had too many texts to rifle through to bother shaking hands and greeting anyone. Indeed, most of his time was spent looking through records of agents who had dealings with the Fey courts and less civilized regions of the multiverse.

In particular, he was looking for any previous records involving the punishment of Fey lords- Archfey included. He hoped that he might find a point of reference for the situation in his hands, as he found himself completely unsure of how to treat the Pale Prince's transgressions, or what in the planes he could even do about it if that lord of winter was in fact to be branded as a criminal.

Almost as an afterthought, he also sent out orders for his most trusted officers to keep combat units on standby. The equipment specifications - and the number of troops ordered- led to yet more rumors of another battle coming, though the Factor made little effort to clarify the matter just yet.

Argent spent several days from his trip distressing so he could work out his own issues then back to work. In this time, he would sit and meditate in the afternoons, seeking a recess in his higher conscious and processing. The trip, all the details, the stories told and his knowledge of the fey. How the skirmish in Sigil took place and adding them together. Then he searched.

He drifted among the Astral in a dream state, where thought could be made tangile. Where history, present and future is etched. He was looking for additional chinks in the Raven Queens armor because he was preparing for war and wanted a tactical advantage. The newly aquired gift, what he imagined was a reflection of the courts uniting, the autumn blade, served as part of an anchor while searching.

A Signer Imagining the Defeat of the Raven Queen.
Thoughts of those that fight to be protected.
