Charae shrugged. "I do not believe my superiors within the Red Death will be popular with this decision either. Maybe they'll understand, maybe not. I for one can I see the importance of this move, but the Mercykillers deal largely in Justice, not law. They do not bargain with the guilty or offer pardons. If Mauric's immunity is carried out, I imagine there will be some consequences."

Hasclaan gives a small nod.

"There are always consequences. I suggest you two talk to your own superiors in this matter, get their opinions. In the meanwhile I will do what I was ordered to."

With this Hasclaan leaves the Courts and makes his way to his home where he swaps his court robes for his adventuring gear, then makes his way to the armoury to meet the Doomlord.

Chari looks to Charae for a moment, then finishes her cup of coffee and sets it on the table before arranging a meeting with her boss. When she's at the barracks she goes to visit him and lets him know what she learned at the meeting.

[*Midnight]

Chari would arrive at the barracks to find Mover Caine is currently in his office and she is shown straight in to see him. The half elf is seated behind a desk he appears to be finishing some paperwork. As he sees Chari enter.

"I had not expected to you to have devised a plan so quickly Measure, your efficiency is most impressive. Please sit down."

"I have new information Sir. While at a meeting with Sir Hasclaan, he became informed that Mauric is willing to cooperate with the arrest of Noshano but he wants immunity in return. Sir Hasclaan is seriously considering granting it to him too. I thought that before agreeing or disagreeing, it would be best to let you know. "

"The Guvners seek to offer Mauric immunity in exchange for cooperation." Charae explained the situation to the Factor, not withholding any details about the meeting she had with Chari and Hasclaan.

Arwyl nods again.

"I imagined they would yes. Is there anything else Justicar?"

Charae blinked, surprised at the Factor's indifference. "I did not expect you to sound so impartial, Factor. Mauric is responsible for the deaths of several of our own. You are fine with all of this?"
