THE CHANT
There is some whispering among the Godsmen of a Signer Factor looking to have an apparatus constructed to house and harness psionic energy inside an ectoplasmic crystal supplied by the requester.
The purpose of the device would be to create a Null Psionics Field around the crystal for as long as possible and to be simple enough in design that a common person with no understanding of psionics could activate or deactivate it.
It isn't long until this request leaks outside of the faction headquarters. Those interested would need only seek out the signer known as Argent.

Former Notary Five Vale Reynalt found himself in the dark dungeons of the Mercykiller prison just over ten days ago. Most notable among the charges that sent him to that dismal place were treason, murder, assault and slander, among others. Though the man stood firm in his conviction that his actions were for the ultimate good of his Faction, and the city as a whole, the law was clear; he was to hang for his crimes.
Â
Although many Cagers spent the days since the dramatic trial musing over possible corruptions, or discussing the notion of an appeal, no cases were filed. Thus, on the final day, the soldier was indeed marched to the gallows.
Â
The execution was held within the Prison itself, and not in Petitioners Square for the public. The reasons for why this was have been the subject of much debate. Some say it was because the Harmonium were too embarrassed by the entire affair, and wanted it brushed under the rug as much as possible. Others claim it was due to the condemned mans history as a war hero. Still others suggest that he was not executed at all, but was instead slipped out of the prison under everyone’s noses, a clear sign of the Triad favoring its own.
Â
The truth of the matter is dark for the most part, except for one thing; the man known as Vale Reynalt was never heard from again.Â

In the days following Vale’s execution, there was a fair bit of commotion from within the Harmonium. Mover Dalton, the man Vale long suspected of being a part of a far reaching conspiracy within the Faction, was arrested. A lengthy investigation followed, but he was eventually released, due to a lack of concrete evidence. However, he did not enjoy his freedom for long. A Notary 4 by the name Brian Eldensmith, who once was a trainee under Reynalt, took it upon himself to finish what his former instructor began. He stalked the Mover back to his home, and within the mans own sanctum, stabbed him to death before setting fire to the estate. Notary 4 Brian turned himself in, confessed to his crime, and was promptly sentenced to death by the Wyrm. He awaits his fate now in a dark cell of the Prison.
Â
Measure Kalvin Diatric, the officer whom Vale captured prior to the Trial, remained under investigation for a month. By now, his part in controversial operations within the Hive, and the resulting abuse of its citizens, had become a matter of public knowledge. He was eventually returned to service, but transferred out of Sigil to  a distant outpost. No one knows where he was spirited away to.
Â
Talasha, the young tiefling girl from the Hive, became the subject of many rumors for much of the time since the trial. She was last seen in the company of the famed Indep ringleader Sharon. Witnesses say she was taken into the Mercuria portal in the Clerks Ward, after which she was not seen in Sigil for a while. Some continue to look out for her, believing she yet has a part to play in the days ahead. Others have simply let the name fade, as so many before have.
