As Ayase invokes the fiendish power of her pact reality warps and the stone of the crypt floor cracks and a cold ice blue mist rises from the floor coming from the very coldest of hells. Then with a cracking sound a growth of rubbery dark tentacles erupt from the cracks. They coil and reach for the knights. The first cuts through the tentecale that grabs at his shield arm but the secind is snared by wrist and ankle and begins struggeling with the icy hellish mass. The first knight cimmited to his charge now lunges at Dorian.

Dorian does his best to shake off the effects of the sound, says a quick prayer, and then invokes his innate ability to produce light ((Aasimar... although ICly he is not Aasimar, but mechanically i have the ability in game and it saves using a cantrip :P)).

"Might as well see what is going on down here"

He looks up the tunnel towards the fighting.

"This is not what I came for, fighting puffed up soldiers is no fun"

He strides forward towards the fight. He does not engage as he reaches the mass of men, tentacles, and whatever else is present, instead he shouts in his most commanding tone:

"CEASE FIGHTING! HAVE YOU FORGOT THE ENEMIES WITHOUT?!"

not exactly understanding what dorian meant with ''have you forgot the enemies without?!'', ayase creates more tentacles to reach for the knight who escaped the first chilling jelliness , as in theory he's charging toward dorian.
she makes one step away from her current position, glancing around

((er_nano: Just in case its also an OOC misunderstanding of the use of "without" in this context, i'm using it in the old style meaning, as in the opposite of "within", so basically, the demons outside the walls))

Seeing ayase fail to heed his "command" he quickly sheathes his sword, mutters to himself "You want conflict, ill give you conflict" grabs his hold symbol in his hand (adding weight to his fist), and attempts to whack her behind the ear with it in an attempt to stun her.

((Midnight: You have my AB and any associated penalties... i'm assuming ayase is focused on casting and/or the attacking knight, and therefore flat-flat footed in relation to Dorian, and if I may be so bold, i'd like to apply for this counting as a touch attack considering the circumstances))

Should he succeed he will interject himself in front of ayase in order to defend her from the oncoming knight, redrawing his sword, but will make no offensive move, instead holding out his shield arm with palm raised outwards in the classic sign for someone to hold their position.

((of course, leaving his back totally exposed to a possibly recovering ayase with a bad temper and i'd guess a ton of sneak attack dice >.<))

*Mauric would cast a hellfire blast at the knight futherst to his left. The shapeshift to a horned devil immediately charging the same knight.*

Around the crypts there is a blur of activity. Dorian shouts his words mingling with the screeching song coming from Ramal. He lunges forward at Ayase striking her with the holy symbol. As he does the knight baring down on him strikes out with his blade. Not at all prepared for the sudden wreckless movement and what would have been a solid blow to the ribs cuts through the charging doomguards armour to strike a mere flesh wound. Dorian would feel hot blood trickle down his side. Ayase is hit in the skull by the blunt heavy holy symbol and knocked to the floor, but not before she finishes her invocation the tentecales erupting from the ground grasping the knight as he chases after Dorian and lifting him off his feet. As Dorian turns to protect the halfling he has just struck he is greeted by the sight off the man who jus stabbed him flailing helplessly at him. In the mean time Ayase would have the time to get neatly to her feet standing behind Dorian between two clusters of writhing icy tentecales.

Not far away Ramal lunges at Mauric before the warlock can change his shape. His blade arcs through the air and cleave one of the mirror images in two, it flickers and disappears. As the hellfire shield ignites Ramal screams with pain and what sounds like laughter.

"Yes! Now we Die! Now we all die!"

From behind the charging doomguard Mauric can see two knights baring down on the two of them.

ayase swears after being hit by the holy symbol. is very hard for her to have the comprehension for all that, very very hard

''they attacked us you jerk!!'' she snarls while getting to her feet, feeling to go medieval on dorian and the two knights with the help of what she just created, but the laughters of the flaming ramal distract her anger from dorian, just to be angrier at what she sees now. and there go more tentacles, this time upon the two other charging knights, if possible
