Neethanial:

Research on the blade is difficult with only the third party information, However after a few days she manages to find out a little information on the metal that makes up the blade. It is know as Sepa Raelgil in Draconic or Soul Crystal in common, Favored by necromancers this metal is a useful tool for binding souls and its strength is determined by the number and power of the souls captured within. After finding this out gathering further information on the blade should be an easy matter, If Tess sticks to it.

Veylandemar:

Your further magical study of the blade has allowed you to determine it houses many souls and the blade its self is able to call them forth, However this power lies solely in the hands of the blade its self and even though you have been able to suppress its ego. You are unable to control the blade and its powers, It feels as though it is rejecting you. In addition you have also discovered its ability to mark a target for death, Once a target is marked the sword will inspire those around you to hunt down the target religiously.

Lore wise little to nothing is found within your own horde of knowledge, You could continue to search in the hopes next week will be different or find another means of research.

Both of you notice an oddly large amount of ravens about sigil as your focus remains on the blade, Myth and lore sometimes connects ravens and the afterlife

NeverOutPunned:

You have little to no visions for most of the week however suddenly towards the end as you are in the middle of some typical mundane task you are hit with a massive one. It starts with a chilling cold accompanied with a great pain that feels as though it might rip you in half, The pain forces your eyes shut, although as soon as you do you feel a claim and the pain passes although the cold is still here.

You look out upon an open field through another's eyes, You recognize this as Brux. You hold out your hand a ring with six small snowflake shards catches your gaze, as a light blue glow comes from the ring a wave of ice spreads out over brux. In an instant the plane is turned into an icy wasteland. Brux's landscape changes into the last prime world you stood upon the nature of the prime mimicking Brux as an icy wasteland.

The vision ends and you eyes open, the floor before you is frozen.

As a note of precaution, Kriegan, armed with mental defenses and wands of detect magic, has begun patrolling the city presumably of his own accord. He searches for concentrations of cold, as he is somewhat adept at knowing when his body temperature drops, and for any signs of mystic scrying, wards, and so forth that appear out of the ordinary. Specifically, he makes multiple daily perimeter checks of the Grail home, Trixx's estate, the Foundry, Charae's estate, the Inn, and the Hall of Records.

Reports all over Sigil today of a great massacre at the shipyard, as two dozen fey and the icy women whom had previously entered Sigil through the brux portal laid siege. It is said that a group of planeswalkers fought of majority of the force. The dragon Junathoraxus was said to have dueled the blue elf like women. The end result of the battle was the women being tossed from the high platform as the dragon weakly collapsed.

Although some believe the women to have died from the fall those with keen eyes saw an impressive display of acrobatics, That only come from the perfection of body and mind. A destroyed golem belonging to the mercykiller's before the Forbidden Plateau portal hinted at her destination.

Unseelie - From the description many Unseelie would know this woman to be Khelek Ba The Winter fist, An ancient fey noble. Although not an archfey her skill in hand to hand combat is known throughout court. She was formally one of the Queens most trusted agents although recently has sided with the Pale Prince. If she has made her way to sigil there must be something important drawing her here.

After an attempt to cease Mirandas promotion of Cold Iron weapons, and a massive fight in the market, Miranda had apparently vanished near the end of the conflict.

As those involved in the fighting picked up the pieces, anyone within the ladys ward would suddenly feel the hairs on their arms stand on end as Mirandas tower begins to hum with pulses of magical power. The tower, for now has two spell protected Iron Golems flanking the outside of her tower, a plethora of cold iron armed constructs are placed at key points within her abode and she begins the process of going over her tower with a fine tooth come, looking for potential weak points that would allow easy access to her tower either magically or physically. The forge within runs hot with production, its magicial enchantment allowing it to produce the simple cold iron weapons with out being tended to.

Unfortunatly for her customers, anyone who attempts to her enter the tower is met with deadly force via her cadre of constructs who ask no questions and give no quarter.

During a small skirmish within the Bazaar, Miranda was offered a chance to keep her self and her child safe from the on coming fey attacks if she but stopped her sale on cold iron. The proud Mage ignored the threat and the known General Khelek Ba issued another, The fey would besiege and destroy the Mages tower and punish her for her crimes in the days to come.

=Entry from Mirandas biography thread, copied here or relevance=

"Siege"

Miranda sat in her bedroom on the third floor of her tower staring at a nearby table that was covered in books and research papers that were scattered haphazardly across its surface. She shivered and rubbed her arms with her hands as if trying to chase off a chill in her limbs with the friction. She has been a merchant of magic for almost twenty five some odd years with four of them being in Sigil where she sells everything from magic shoe laces to suits of armor fit for a dragons horde (and everything in between). As a merchant of weapons and armors has she had disgruntled custiomers? Sure, has she had people threaten her because of her trade? Yep, Has she ever pissed off organizations with out intending to? Right again.

She did nothing wrong, she merely offered people an informed way to protect themselves against the winter courts incursion and not once did she ever in anyway utter suggestions that her weapons be used to hunt down and slaughter and massacre fey. All she did was try and take advantage of a martially dangerous situation like any merchant would. She laughed at that thought when she realized that it was she who was barricaded inside her fairly new home, and that it was her who was now surrounded by creations of magic and metal that were now armed and armored with highly enchanted pieces of cold iron destruction.

"Well...as a merchant of weapons and armor I would hate to be the berk who gives you grief" someone had told her many years ago when she was still setting down roots in Sigil. She sighed and stood slowly, bracing her back and abdomen with one hand each and she carefully waddled over to one of the windows that over looked the front of her tower. She had enchanted the glass to be one way only, she could see out but none could see within. She had been keeping frequent eyes out of her windows, at all times one of her many homunculi were on observational perches to do so.

She felt her heart flutter as she noticed a plethora of people take a sudden interest in her tower and its apparent well being. She did not fail to notice the suddenly increase in Harmonium patrols, and more then once did she spot mercykiller colors looking in her direction, so too did she notice many of her friends, allies and even casual business customers who she didnt really know, she noticed the support that seemed to be coalesing around her.

As she watched support mount and she began to recieve messages from various powers urging her to make contact with them to prepare for the coming conflict, she suddenly felt herself emotionally overwhelmed but it was one of the Sigilians setting up an observational camp of sorts outside her tower that finally drove Miranda to a steady stream of tears. She had made associates, friends, and allies in her time in Sigil and now many of them were placing themselves in harms way because of her.

Such support for a Red Wizard of Thay, the hell's must be freezing over.

She knew it was not just her that was drawing such motion from the city, she knew the winter court was a threat to the cities well being and that she had merely gotten in the way, she knew it was not just about her completely but she did not lessen the value of those who were gathering in support of her well being.

Illdesserin Tower was never completely silent, it was a wizards tower after all and something was always simmering or boiling, or twinkling audibly with magic enchantment, and of course the creaking of the cadre of constructs she had through out the three floors. The structure she called home however, seemed utterly silent since she barricaded herself inside as if every sound was immediately sucked from the air before it could be heard. She began to pace around her room for a few moments before making a quick rip down to the first two floors to check on various things she was setting up for if and when the potentially hostile guests come knocking on her door. She found herself back in her room before to long, sitting back on her bed crying yet again. She wanted to go home, she wanted to flee to her husbands enclave in the dragons reach, let the fey try and rip her from the protective walls filled with powerful red wizards and all of their slaves, servants and magical powers arrayed against them.

The number of Fey deaths would be one for the history books, no one would deny that, however such a course would come with a very high cost and even she would be hesitant to pay such a price.

Still...she was going to keep that course of action open as a last resort.

She finally decided to ink several messages to the powers that had reached out to her, which she secured to squad of homunculi which she released from the top of her tower to carry the missives to the interested parties.

The missive simply states.

"As much as I am inclined to stand my ground and defend my home I have realized that the situation aligned before me is something that even I cannot deal with alone and I am deeply in debt to everyone who has reached out to offer assistance your care and concern have not gone unnoticed by any means. I will meet with those of you who have contacted me to discuss your ideas but understand that I will be taking my own precautions. My tower is off limits for now and anyone trying to set foot inside with out me will be violantly met with open arm and spell from my defenses. In addition, despite the urge to keep a low profile when setting out to meet with those in question, I will be accompanied by my personal guardians at all times, this is non negotiable.

Send your retinues to the tower when you are ready to meet with me".

The note is not signed.

The Bronze Dragon makes it known throughout the clerk ward that he will seek to provide refuge for any fey fleeing the cold of Brux, and begins to seek out temporary accommodations in the hive ward should any such wayward fey manifest.

Word is spread to the Fey refugees that their prospective dictator intends to stash them in the lowliest, dirtiest, most dangerous ward of Sigil, and should consider other options.
Any Fey seeking refuge should seek out the Fey within the city. Sigil has no walls between Seelie and Unseelie. Only doors.
