What's the saying - Forewarned is forearmed? Maybe they don't even have the slaves there. Or even a temple. Can you get in and out without notice? You wouldn't touch a thing.

Do we have an informant in there or is this based on rumors?

I'd love to have a map in front of us. X marks the guards and all that useful stuff...

I have the feeling if we don't do a bit of front work on this one, we will end up fighting our way out. And worst case, on the run. I don't like the idea of running; I'm starting to like this place!"

Niexy takes out her recently purchased bracers and shivers a bit in anticipation of what they can do. "Niexy can hides, yes. Niexy can also disguise around drow." With a flick of a wrist and a lingering chuckle, the small Pixie suddenly transforms into a giant spider straight out of Lolth's realms.

and again if we get in the temple by a portal we'll never be sure to get in smoothly absolutely. unless you have ideas how to peek onthe other side before activating it

"Hmm. Good then. This little look-see....

Last time Nico and I went in, we were not in anyone's simple house, like we...like I had expected. It could have gone badly. Luckily Nico thinks quickly on her feet.

I have no idea on the portal. Maybe only one goes in there for a look? If it's a trap...then we might be able to rescue one.

Let's make a list of things we want to know and Nico can pick a recon crew to go in there to find out. Seems she's familiar with all of you.

Ummm. Ok. Here's things I can think of:

-where and how many guards. How are they equipped. Might not have time to see routines.
-where, how many slaves, and what condition and race.
-Maybe an expert jumper can determine if we can find a nook to jump in for the escape. And we should have another way to run out, in case the jumping messes up.

Anyone else got suggestions?" And I'd think we would want to go in with the full plan within a day of the recon, dears.

"I owe Nico one, so I'll go if need be. I'm not opposed to a little risk, even one with as little calculation as we have here. I'm not an expert jumper yet, though. So any path I'd see and recommend will likely include walking in and walking out, dear.

These elves like spiders? How strange. I might need a little background information on this kind of elf."

Nico listened to a little while, watching the conversation (while eating) like someone would watch a good mystery. Deep interest, back and forth and nodding when necessary. She then piped in.

"Let's not get hasty. No one is volunteering anyone else to do something even I would consider risky. I know people want to make early runs into the place but what if it only takes one to alert them? I'd think their eyes would be pretty alert to a portal from their queenies home. We might get away with opening it once. They might think it a fluke and shrug it off. More than that? two? Three? Suddenly the jig is up and they're all over the place. Add that to multiple treks to the Spider Pits... This, I think, is a one for all... in under cover and take out what might be standing on the other side. It's unlikely to be much. They'd not be expecting enemies to come from Mommies home. I think we could manage that part.

We'd have to split up at that point. One group to get the guards moving outside the place. We need to have as many empty the temple as possible. Someone unlocks the slave pens... someone else lights a big fire in the back of them. Panic the slaves, make it look like a local emergency and not an incursion. Once done... that group finds a portal and gets out. No waiting around for the others. Their job is done, head out.

The other group, once the alarm is sounded, moves up the temple. No maps and none coming so it'd be fast and hard. Lots of guesswork... we can handle that. If we weren't going unless we had all our plans laid out exact... we'd never go. I'm not gonna force folks to go... I'd love to have the help but if yer not comfy, it's ok. We still gotta smooth out plans but that's my opinion."
