Rhistel is as sure as he can be that the mirror is suitable for scrying with.

Once he is sure the mirror is fitting, he reaches for his bag to take the payment in Platinum Cogs, and leaves it on O'Nine's desk.

"Fill me a receipt for the purchase and keep going with your work. I will be using this office for now," he states blankly in the man's general direction before focusing on the mirror again, an hand reaching for the triangular silver amulet around his neck.
For once, the weird habit of the Air Genasi to gift him objects belonging to her was going to serve some purpose other than making him feel uncomfortable.
With that thought in mind, he started his attempt of scrying the girl.

An hour and he was going to know if that amulet was really of good luck.

The mirror is more than fit for the purpose. The amulet is a perfect focus, and Rhistel's magic is powerful. He casts the spell an image appears in the mirror but it fades to black in an instant. Rhistel knows enough magic to recognize what stops him. A mind blank abjuration shrouding his target. Someone knew he would do this.

Of course. That would have been too much of good luck for his standards. He wondered if she had noticed something... not that it mattered of course.

For now, the long way was the only remaining one.

He exits O'Nine's office, leaving the mirror inside and taking the ledger with him.

"Have the mirror delivered to the Foul Olde Spirit, for room 4," he says as he gets out of the warehouse, almost not minding if his request had been understood.
Once outside, he heads toward the Lady's Ward and the Harmonium Barracks.
