Holy water, that was purchased by Colonel and his Fungal friend is being used to create scrying pools to monitor situation at both Lower Ward, Gatehouse surroundings as well as to probe Gatehouse's defensive wards. Few additional are supposed to show what was going on around Hall of Speakers. To do that, they rely on Kumohami's Divine powers.
((OOC note: this is supposed to be absolutely legitimate divine magic from PnP. Though Gatehouse itself is most likely warded, its surroundings and Lower ward are most likely not.))
They attempt to collect data on anything suspicious that may happen there: behaviour of the people in Lower ward, who enters or leaves Gatehouse, if there happen to walk any familiar people (like Argent or Aidan); faction badges of any suspicious individuals, their behaviour; Any noticeable events.
In cases of wards, they attempt to monitor the characteristics of disturbances caused to analize them later.
A Very Bleak Crime Scene

The first time it happened it was like he just woke up in one of his nightmares.
He had gone to sleep, the provisonal bed placed in the demiplane not that comfortable for two, but not bad either, but he opened his eyes to find himself in the Mortuary.
He tried to keep his cool, despite everything. He had not died. He was fine.
He looked around, but apparently no one was caring about him, and no one could tell how he did get there in the first place.
He hurried home again, frustration growing.
Did he walk there? How did it happen? Why?
Another meeting with Argent, odd place off plane as always because they needed to keep the blood flowing, one way or another, and he discovered the same happened to the Elf as well.
Whatever it was, one thing was clear: it was using them, and it wanted them to be in the Cage.
They had waited enough, they needed to move before the situation worsened.
They went back to the Cage and then headed toward the Melethkanara. There was a letter in need to be sent.
------
Never on their scrying (which one would suggest might upset a LOT of free citizen of the Cage, since no one likes to be scryed ) Araki and his company would probably see either Rhistel or Argent, not even if eye contact could be made at the same time, suggesting some ward might be in place. Not surprising, considering the situation.
Among the warded areas, along with all the Faction Headquarters and other prominent buildings, there would be Rhistel property as well, of course.

If they wish to block scrying, break scrying or return scrying, they should find Kumo ingame, roll and pass corresponding spellcraft, intelligence and will checks (or whatever it was, He is more familiar with subject and how it works in PnP). Otherwise not accepted.
In case, one would wish to attempt "learn identity of scryer" (playing by the rules ofc), they would catch only the mushroom, that they are most likely not familiar with.
P. S. And to be fair, a corresponding messages, that they have put any wards against scrying up (Mind Blank included) would be nice after they had opportunity to suspect, that someone could be scrying on them, or state in the beginning, that such wards are always up because characters are overcautious, would had been appropriate. Thus I would want to officially ask the EM, if putting wards up retroactively is an appropriate behaviour.

((Mind Blank is the ward I am referring to, and it stops the scrying all togehter, so no need to http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/mindBlank.htm
We are in a plot where we are subject to mind controlling all day, so yes, I do not feel it is needed to specify. I will still leave the decision to the EM, and will be available to roll in case someone scryes my character, it is not big deal anyway))

Araki Yasuyo has been warded against mind effects and scrying for some time by a third party using overlapping duration of up to 2 days each time.

Now having the dagger and psionic signal Oximinia's tracking device their possession, colonel and Oximinia had opportunity to test if this dagger indeed was connected to some mind anywhere in Sigil.
As any signal, including telepathy (psionics) should gain in strenght, as one approaches the source, the device was intended to show the direction to the source by measuring it's strenght. They hoped to track the source with it.
They wanted to see, does device show any reasonable results at all, when dagger wass inserted? Does it register any telepathic signal coming to dagger? From which object, building or facility would the signal come? Maybe not from surface, but Undersigil?

THE CHANT
Reports begin to surface of cases of extreme melancholy, depression, and even a few cases of suicide emerging from several wards over the last few days/weeks. Those who investigate would find.
THE DARK
-- A chorus of wailing in the from near the lady's ward, where a widow laments losing her husband to the frost from the plane behind a nearby portal.
-- A severe bout of depression visited upon frequenters of the Bottle and Jug inn. Any business going in an out of the tavern experiences an approximate 24 hour stall, the next S.I.G.I.s article comes out a bit thin.
-- Planewalkers leaving Brux find themselves visited by fatigue and melancholy upon entering Sigil through the portal in the Clerk Ward.
-- Weapons production and general plotting and ploying from the Doomguard armory experiences a slump as the stronghold experiences similar events as were visited upon the Lower Foundry a few weeks prior.
-- Dispair, more than usual, is heard from the temple of the abyss.
-- Visitors to the hive ward may notice a slight increase of bodies in the streets, or at least a delay as to how quickly they are attended to. The Dustmen appear to be slipping in their duties from time to time of late.
THE DARKEST DARK
Those paying particularly close attention may see a pattern forming in this peculiar series of events.

Depression, a general feeling of what's the point permeated Oximinia's very Being and her inner thoughts, what was the point of all of this? She was Drained both mentally and physically, Perhaps some rest ought to do her well, Reverie solves most problems after all. She finds some Comfort knowing she isn't the only one experience this General Feeling of "eh", "has it spread? are Adventurer's spreading this..? Think dammit!" Not getting to the bottom of this is driving her more and more mad. Having spoken to the Colonel days after she thought of a Solution, why couldn't her friend not rest outside of Sigil? She creates a Psi-Crystal where she plans to Scry him, they both agreed on this, She plans to get as little rest as possible and Observe him to see if there are any Anomalies.

For those paying some attention, cases of this melancholy continue.
They are largely occurring from time to time in the Clerk and hive wards, and in the bazaar, where all but the most willful merchants appear to be suffering from lethargy and procrastination (there have even been rumors that items even in the great Sigil Bazaar have been more difficult to procure of late).
