Charles stepped out of the crowd and surveyed the area. He had been out of the city for many months on business back in the Prime and was out of touch with the news of the day. He noted the Vines, the smashed signs, the new signs and the chain gangsÂ… and he sighed.
“This just won’t do…” he said to his assistant as they walked into the loud marketplace. He approached one of the new Harmonium “warnings” and inspected it. “Have all these signs, and any other offensive sign, covered in burlap. Do not destroy any of them. Let those close by know that should the owners of the signs disapprove… to come see me”. He handed his assistant a small wooden box. “Ensure this gets to Neinna. Handle it carefully. It’s 30 year old scotch from the Sacred Dragon monastery of home. As rare as a virgin in UnderSigil… for her collection. Let her know I need to meet with her. If anyone knows what the hells is going on around here, it’ll be her.” His assistant nodded and headed out to do as he was tasked.
Charles walked from consortium merchant to labourer trying to find things out before heading to Khazeets to sit and process this new problem all the while thinking… ‘I should have stayed home…’

Should any Harmonium signs be covered, the new measure would likely become aware of it quickly and have the signs uncovered and anyone caught covering the signs would have their description noticed and forwarded along to the harmonium where they would be placed on a "Watched" list, if that person is already suspected to have ties to organizations and or criminal groups that threaten the progress of harmony they would be detained for a very long discussion about the latest developments, mainly the Razorvine growth.

Should the above be followed through, an official complaint would be made to the Harmonium and Fraternity, via the Fraternity court system, to have the signs removed as terms such as "Ass-Hats" are considered inflamitory and are meant to incite aggression instead of bringing peace. It would be noted that purposely inciting aggression and violence, through the use of such terms, is considered illegal in the City of Sigil.
The paperwork would be handled by the Consortium legal team.
It would also be noted that if the Harmonium Measure cannot post such things using terms that would calm the situation instead of infalming it, then maybe his superiors should take a closer look at their last promotion choice.

As Sigil awakens, it becomes clear that all is not well in the Bazaar. There is a sense of unease as the Razorvine has smothered small stalls and overgrown walls.
Xaositects seem to have embraced the disruption presented by the growth. No less than four notable scenes have been reported:
In the space where the Mercykillers' makeshift gallows once stood stands a simple sign reading 'Beware: Invisible Razorvine.' It seems that at least one Mage amongst the Chaosmen has started veiling the plant in invisibility. The scene is punctuated by the lacerated remains of one of the Red Death's prisoners. A wand containing enchantments to reveal the hidden plants lay clutched in his torn fingers, his bindings still present upon his arms and legs.
Upon the wall between Brother Candor's curative stall and Shale Ravenwing's armory now lurked a truly spectacular growth of the vine, carefully and lovingly tended by a particularly touched Xoaswoman. It was near-enough sculpted to resemble a gathering of Dabus, prostate and seemingly in prayer before the Lady herself. A makeshift patch of graffiti read 'vine very my patch favourite!'.
Most locals avoid the wall, fearing what might come of giving it any lingering attention. Of the gardener who made the masterpiece, nothing is known, but it is likely she won't be seen again.
A Duodrone remains entangled within a mass of the vines, its distress apparent as it continues to struggle. Oil, blood and gears are smattered amongst the foul plants and if it goes unaided, it is likely to tear itself apart. Word about the Bazaar is the modron was lured amidst the vines.
Lastly, just off the main thoroughfare towards the portal to Brux, a tangled patch had claimed a small party of the Chaosmen. A small growd had gathered about the patch, peering morbidly at the monstrous entanglement and the torn bodies within. It seems that not all of the Xaositects met with success that eve.

On the following day the new taxes are made public, nailed to posts and doors and sometimes zombies. Of course all the other factions get the memo as well.

Factotem Merium Pinklily, Is seen this time accompaning some extra chaingangs and namers, in helping to clear the razorvine that have seen to take even more growth over the Night, The Dead bodies are ordered to be piled near the hive, an attempt to avoid Collectors from swarming the Bazaar on what might look like an easy payday for them, by giving them quick easy access.
Mobile Signs are posted about warning the consequences of interfering with the Mercykillers on Duty or Prisoners. When an area is cleared the signs too travel with the chaingangs.

The MercyKillers would find these mobile signs are not tampered with by the Indeps who are responsible for the burlap coverings. So long as they follow the workers, they are left alone.Plaxy100,May 7 2013 wrote: Factotem Merium Pinklily, Is seen this time accompaning some extra chaingangs and namers, in helping to clear the razorvine that have seen to take even more growth over the Night, The Dead bodies are ordered to be piled near the hive, an attempt to avoid Collectors from swarming the Bazaar on what might look like an easy payday for them, by giving them quick easy access.

As a respectful response to the MercyKiller cooperation in this matter, waterboys (and girls) are sent regularilly (by interested Indep members) to ensure both prisoners and Red Death guards are kept refreshed and working to clear the blight.

*Getting irritated by all the vines and the trouble they cause, Sskrassk grabs the biggest sword he has in his collection and gets to hacking away at all the vines he sees, his particularly thick scales protecting him from the backlash the vines would cause, and should one hurt him, his regeneration would slowly heal his wounds*

///in response to the snipers lead by phoenix vs stealth squad lead by merium, before the sniping would subdue due to increased numbers of mercykillers about, response that arrives bit late, sorry///
excpecting sniping upon their ''gardener'' comrades, lily and her squad lurk hidden on the roofs near and in sight of spots that would appear ideal for sniping on the group in the streets.
as soon as the anarchs arrive to snipe, the mercykillers assassin would attack out of their hideouts, the snipers caught offguard but reacting promptly.
long seconds of furious combat follows, while some of the red death down in the streets start to climb up to the roofs to help the stealth squad. but at the same time a similar reinforcement comes from the anarchs, whereas they wisely kept a few men in the backlines ready to intervene in case something would go amiss
more moments of ruthless fight, injured and a few fallen on both sides, merium and phoenix catching sight of each other and exchanging a few blows (if both are taking part in this fight, ofc), at a point elements of both forces start to spread too much and the anarchs retreat in the hive, where the mercykillers best not venture in, carrying away the wounded and the fallen they can manage to.
helping wounded comrades and counting their deads, the red deaths would realize one of their men is gone missing, if either dead or alive, is unknown. themselves though subdued a still alive anarch.
what will happen to the two prisoners of antagonist sides, is left to the choice of their enemies ((ofc the prisoners are NOT phoenix or lily :P ))

measure criptbane wouldn't be alone in his mantaining the harmonium presence and influence expressed by signs. some fellow guards who seem to think like him would do the same, and support him by patrolling along himWhenWizardsWar,May 7 2013 wrote: Should any Harmonium signs be covered, the new measure would likely become aware of it quickly and have the signs uncovered and anyone caught covering the signs would have their description noticed and forwarded along to the harmonium where they would be placed on a "Watched" list, if that person is already suspected to have ties to organizations and or criminal groups that threaten the progress of harmony they would be detained for a very long discussion about the latest developments, mainly the Razorvine growth.
