Your fiend!? Your fiend!?

She looks down from her perch on the table.

"Well when your fiend turns up be sure to introduce us."

She looks up to see the two elderly Boccobites leaving

"Where are they...."

She sighs

"We're going to have to go ourselves aren't we?"

The priest smiles at the Alu Fiend's reaction- perhaps even somehow pleased with himself.

Getting up he dons his cloak then offers his hand to her to help her down from the table.

'Lets find them. I have a few scrolls I can share with them and perhaps they are interested to hear about my home plane. If necessary I have the construct- you know, the one you do not like.'

She nods

"Yes that thing! We'll give them that. Good idea."

She slips her arm into his.

"Portal to the elemental plane of earth is not far. Then do you want to open a gate or do I?"

'I do it this time. The spells I have prepared are mostly for divination, restoring and protection. If things get ugly I need you fresh and at full strenght.'

He leads her towards the portal, selecting the key from the pouch that contains his collection to open the passage that leads them to the inner plane.

Once they arrived he will not hesitate to open the Gate that takes them to their destination.

((Some music))

The gate spread as a mirror of light from a tiny mote of light. Rippling as it grew broader and higher than the pair. A dreary landscape broaded at the opposite side. A hight turret arose from a black bastion placed on a windsweapt plateau. The portculis in the center was raised and soon two rows of dark armoured figures carrying black and red towersheilds marched out spliting into two lines one on either side of the portal with a stern motion they turned and faced eachother leaving space for no more that three people to pass through their lines crossing blades with the knight they faced forming an impassable archway.

A flash of grimson was seen further down that archway of blades. A robed bald figure appeared out of the flash. The red cloth fluttering wildly in the strong gale like long tongues of fire. Apparently waiting for them.

Striding through the closed rankes of Knights thy shouldered the swords as the passed and rose them just as quick behind them in a serenade of metal sliding against metal. Reaching the Red Wizard holding his staff in a regal proudful bearing he greated them withflawless courtesy.

"The Nation of Thay and I Unter Belhavem welcomes you."

((Sorry for the delay of the third in game event. Will aim to finish this on coming Sunday. Note though that a second EM will be required for this and if he can't make it we will have to reschdule. ))

The fiend watches the knights form up, her eyes roam over the men in armour and the wizard who led them. She fought every urge and instinct of her tanar'ri blood to do something silly, or violent, or both. Her mind raced, they were expected, she had not expected to be expected. Quick Clahra thing what were they expecting. Orderly, polite and smugly convinced of their own power, a bit like Baatezu. She hated Baatezu. No! Focus! They're going to want to think they are talking to someone important all they'll feel slighted, but don't spread it on too thickly or they may feel threatened. Everyone's looking at you say something!

"In the name of my mistress Malachant I bid you greeting mortal. And it is from her realm Shendilavri, that I must deliver dire warning."

While the Alu Fiend draws all attention to her the priest looks over the ranks of warriors but then focuses his attention on the mage, trying to gauge hs power and more important school specialization by the clothes, symbols and- if he can detect some hints- active spells he uses.

The priest wers both his holy symbol and his spell book openly, not hiding his profession and affiliation.

When the woman has finished he adresses the crowd with a strong and calm voice, the voice that was trained by adressing the crowd of the faithful in the Library during the rituals.

'I greet you as well, Unter Belhavem, in the name of Boccob the Lord of Magic and Knowledge. We travelled far across the planes to seek and offer knowledge but indeed it were dark news that brought us to this place.

I am Ordlas, wizard and priest, this is my companion Ana.'

The mage was heavily warded by potent magics. His raiment carried several symbols as was custom in the strict magocracy. Ranks and honrarou awards from differend accademies. He no doubt had a high standing in this society. The staff made made of bones and various insignias on his robe suggested necromancy was his school of choice. His calm black eyes regarded the pair no doubt he scutinised them as prudently as they did him.

"A warning from the abyss. We have a lot of that out here, usually coupled with a threat and a demand. Usually involving one of our bindings."

The wizard hinted hald a smirk in his well composed countenance as his eyes drifted to Ordlas and the shadow of a flicker of humour in his eyes was gone.

"Thay rewards those who bring us valuble infromation in the interest of our nation."

His shap marking tone suggested that he had no interest to hear the plights of others nor anything that wouldn't benefit the Wizards.

Dark clouds satred to amass above them and it started to rain lightly. The strong gale ripped at their loose parts of clothing as well as the Alu-fiends long hair.

As the storm gathers and the gale blows around them Clahra reaches into her bag as the wizard replies. Producing a strand of long red silk she ties her hair back into a tidy and easily manageable pony tail as she waits for him to finish.

"Oh good Unter. You'll be familiar with what I will say, but I am not here to talk about a binding. I am here to talk about the binding."

She is careful to emphasise the word.

"And if you do not know what I refer to I need to speak to somebody who does."

Ordlas pulls his hood up, casts a quick glance at the fiend the says with lowered voice.

'I suggest we do not talk about this here in the open. It seems the seals get weak- they need to be reinforced again.

The Red Wizards know a lot and we came to learn and also to share our own knowledge.'
