The Undren's Missing?

Dace cautiously proceedes into the cave, maintaining his invisibility invocation and minding his steps. He scans the area with arcane sight ((see the unseen)) for any workings or fiends that would likewise be waiting in ambush.

A few steps in, however, he stops dead in his tracks as the portal opens in a sudden flash. Instinctively preparing a blast with his left hand as his right reaches for Daemotep, he squints past the initial burst, taking a moment to recollect his nerves and take in the scene on the other side.

Lot of.... howling? And furry forms, circling not far o-

...Jall?!

The familiar face ahead pushed him into a snap- and likely very careless- decision. He let out the negative energy in his left hand, shaping it as a chain and willing it to strike the three beasts. If they didn't go down outright , he rushed in, drawing his blade and augmenting it with a vitrolic charge.

As the blast slams into the werewolves they skid and roll popping right up. Iptai's Belladona seems to do nothing to them though the silver gives them pause. A female laugh can be heard and a woman with fair features, blonde hair, and blue piercing eyes steps out of the doorway. As she does the werewolves give away and kneel at her feet in reverence.

She looks to Iptai and laughs, "Belladona? Does that actually work on lesser creatures? You'd need Wolfsbane for my pets dear."

She scratches one under its chin and it leans in absorbing her touch.

"So loyal. I loose my mantle yet still they follow," She looks to Jall, Dace, Iptai, and Wuhi, "What business have you here? None of you are of this fallen world."

Luna had definitely ported away.

The werewolves move with blinding speed but the one targeted by Iptai wasn't quiet quick enough. It would roll and skid to a halt turning to face Iptai and Dace. It seemingly shook off the effects of magic but the silver axe is embedded into it's shoulder smoking with a sizzling noise as it sears the creatures flesh.

Wuhi would reach the doorway only to discover nothing was happening. No stones moved and there was no door left to hold. The other two werewolves cross the threshold of the tower barreling into Wuhi in a flash of teeth, fur, and claws.

*finding that luna ported away Jall quickly scans along the hallway, rustling in her bag swiftly, while wuhi roars with firey eyes and spitting flames from her mouth to them as they charge closer (more to blurr their sight a few moments, rather than damage), thus receiving the two werewolves with a shield slam on one and a heavy swing on the other with a wide silvery longsword*

Jall scans the short hall finding a smaller doorway her and Wuhi can use as a choke point.

Wuhi makes little advance against the werewolves. When she moves to strike one the other would start to move causing Wuhi to break action and defend. However because of Wuhi's actions the werewolves are forced to hold off as well.

Dace takes a moment to focus an invocation on the halflings and himself, hastening their every move right before he directs another chained invocation at the werewolves, this time sending a violent surge of vitrolic energies through each of them. A second chain follows up the shot, both of which fall first on the wolf harrying Iptai.

Once the creature harrying Iptai is down , he bolts into the tower, slamming a wall of perilous flame between the other two halflings and the wolves in an attempt to buy them some distance and a moment of reprieve.

As the acidic blasts slam into the werewolves the one Dace is targeting drops. It falls to the ground in a snarling yelp.

Dace falls back behind Wuhi I with Iptai right behind bringing the wall of flame up between the werewolves and Wuhi. They both jump back and the Alpha speaks.

"Do you think this will stop us for long?"

"Oh! no, but long enough for the other two to track down queeny. And you got to deal with us now." She pulls a green little orb from her necklace and hurls it at the feat of the speaking one. ((Acid bomb fairly simile to a acid cload Effect)).

*jall interrupts the casting of the dimension door and nods to dace in thanks, although he never saw her look being so serious before.
She stay close to her kins in case she decide to go for tha same spell once again.
She looks to the woman and talks, hinting a smile:
"Well, you see, we've found those unusual tracks in abyss and decided to follow them , getting here , and as we found this odd tower we couldn't resist to curious about. Didn't imagine we'd get attacked by hostile wolf peole...this land looks rather dead, after all..."
