Sitting behind her desk, Sillxhistraja looked through the documents she received thoroughly. She wanted to make sure that path she was promised was really as fast as it was said.
Danger did not really matter. That was problem for which these jink-monging guards should be answering. Of course, there was matter of cargo...

The clearances seem to be genuine. There was also short notes deal with whom to avoid and whom to give bribery depending on which guard was stationed at the outpost Suhketh Albarrana. The map only dealth with the route from the City of Brass, Muspelheim and a very small portion of Nidavellir. The path through Surtrs domain seemed short and quick as promised. A ravine, an abandoned temple and a tunnel but there was several open areas between them that had to be crossed with caution if they should stand any chance of going through the giants realm without being spotted.

*A missive etched into a sheet of gleaming brass reaches the desk of those in the Fated charge of the caravan job*
Greetings!
I, the Luminous Heyreddin Al-Barossa Malik of the City of Brass' Ever-Golden House of Bayezid, and my kinsman, Maalik Saif-Al-Faiz of the City of Brass' Ever-Golden House of Bayezid, were informed of your impending venture from the Suhkteh Albarrana by one orc-son, Ugdum, and do wish to enhance the splendor and protection with which this caravan will reach its destination. In addition to providing our formidable skill at arms and familiarity with the terrain for your advantage, we would also provide an easy means with which your caravan might call for friendly reinforcements from the Albarrana should overwhelming battle be joined.
The only stipulation which must be satisfied, aside from whatever fee is being offered to all caravan protectors, to acquire our services would be the inclusion of the mortals Ugdum and Carrie in the vanguard, as was requested of us as price for bringing this caravan to our attention.
I have every confidence that you will weigh our offer carefully, and see the benefits our expertise might bring.
Signed,

So drow received the message, when she was occupied with other important deal.
After reading it, dark elf let out a distressed grunt.
Already the caravan was getting colorful enough for everyone to take notice, but adding someone else so suddenly without regard to economic situation...
Besides...
Unrolling the list again, Fated checked names of dangerous individuals she needed to avoid. Would presence of native really help in dealing with them?
This timing was too convenient. That demanded personal interaction.

After meeting with this denizen of Fire Plane, Sillxhistraja decided that it is nearly time to start expedition.
She researched the document, memorizing it's contents. Route, notes about the trail, names, schedules of guard shifts - every bit of content that can matter during travel.
There were made reservations for new beasts of burden, capable of surviving hasrh climate of Muspelheim.
If this cargo does not make it to where she wants it, all of factotum's years before this moment would be meaningless.
