///Aw, it's a shame. Thought finding spell key could be fun process.///

It was relief. One of escape methods was working.

But there were many ways it could be obstructed. And that meant using her newest purchase should be most effective only at the right time. Not later and not earlier.

((Some alterations to his parting.))

His right hand flung up to catch it with a mild clink as the black-gloved ring wearing hand closed around the glass.

"At the end of things there is only one thing to get and we will all attain it. The hows and whens on the other hand. Since fall I must I rather it from highest summit. This but a step higher or a deep slip unto the.. abyss."

Wherewith he left the temple.

He took his time to regard the ruin. Once a bastion perhaps with a purpose now? Forgoten and uneeded the rule applied to dead mater as well as living. It was here the manifistation best was seen the ruin of flesh, spirit and mater alike. He drew up a Circle of Doom seating himself admid its center on his shins closing his eyes clenching the one hand he still had full dominion over. It was not a prayer more a recognition of dominace. He recited every demon lord known to him and their domains with a remark of ruin as if a reminder that there was a force of entropy within them all.

"Baphomet of boundless beastial rule that consumes the weak.
Alzruis the flame that reaves all and leaves nought in return.
Aseroth Cold claimer of frore souls, freezer that shatters."
((And this goes on in that style.)

As he finished several minutes later he took the scroll and unrolled it starting reading with a half focused half mad expression.

((Heh russian roulette? you know the gambler's answer to that. I'll up that to three bullets! How about we up that to 18 and add something more complex and intriguing ? :) Let's lower the charisma a bit more since 8+5-13 isn't enough to cause him serious trouble the sleekit he are. let's lower it to 0 base with the item granting him a 5. This will effectivly cause him to shun anything that involves leading or taking a prominent position not just hesitant but truly afraid of people and as you know he rely a lot on others even if he dosen't trust them. Enough? Why don't we add some spice. A permanent living nightmare during these weeks that will abate to something less dramatic but still permanent as he learns to master it.

There is some restrictions I want you consider however I want to complete the Two event series ( The ship of Chaos and Iggwilvs) apart from this with him as he started them. The timeline get skewed up when doing this on the forum and can't have him suddenly go barking mad in the midst of things. And we need to agree on a number of weeks. I on my end will not "park" him but keep playing him allowing others to take advantage of his situation.))

Feeling of calamity at hand forced Sillxhistraja to think of self-preservation. There was need for alternative escape route.

That is why scarce free time from work in Tradegate was given to research of conjuration magic. More precisely, what blocks it in Outlands.

Could there be a way to oversome it?

He called out the question. "What creature lurk in confinement beneath the vaults of the bank in Tradgate? What is it name in the fullsest sense? How can its chains be broken and how can its new chain be bound?

Many voices answer and they all scream a name, a name so horrible that hearing it makes Mauric's ears bleed, a name even he would struggle to pronounce.

Then the voices start to talk nonsense again, telling many lies and half truths and some try to sway other to threaten, some to ensnare with sweet words others to anger with selected profanties. But behind all this voices there is another one and Mauric feels what it says is true. Truth is a rare thing among demons and usually used to further horrible and twisted goals.

The spells he has will be enough to free it and even to bind this creature temporaily.. a few days.. a week... a month? The Abyss is fickle and hard to predict... always changing, growing and dying.

To bind it fully and for all eternity he will have to either get the creature to agree to help him voluntarily or he needs to know the demons full horrible name- its True Name.

The warlock's eyes widened in fear. He suckled in every lie as he paled to use them as the the utteres of them used them against him. So many overwhelming for mortal ears and mind he had to veer away. As in any place you spot the exeption to the rule and so he did fotuneous as he were. Where is the broken part what howls in defiance to the rest? He focused ignoring the rest of the mealstrom within his head.

Grasping for air he collapsed soon after spasming on the circle he had created with echoing voices in his head. Activating the circle unleasing the entropic energies as he kicked and wobbled wildly with his right arm feeling the surge of negative enrgy coursing through him the seizures stopped. The demons would find him soon if he didn't get away soon. In that sorid shape he hurried away.

The thing was done.

Sillxhistraja walked out of Sigil with quite an amount of money in one day.

And she knew where it could be used. One wave of staff opened dimensional gate in the Outlands drow factotum disappearing into the Planes unknown.

.......But then returned after a few hours. Sigil had not got rid of this barmy yet!

Somewhere, deep below the vaults of the Hall of Records, a bunch of Fated were having a laugh at the recent article in S.I.G.IS...

Mauric and Azor was seen wandering through the ladys ward reeking of smoke in seared attires. It had been a good compromise in the end. A considerable portion of the Buildings around the bank had been burned down and given to entropy. The takers had their haul. The warlock true to his word for once and taken nothing but souls, namely one the one kept in the black embering gem around his neck. Azor had likewise obtained a bound being. Tools in their hands or was they that now had become the tools in the hands of the seemingly confined creatures?
