When Maed and Ganatog arrive at the temple they are greeted by a Babau who wears fine silks and the demon approaches them with what probably is a broad smile for his kind.

"Welcome, welcome... most impressive work! Please come...." He leads them deeper into the temple, the air thick with aromatic fumes, chanting and distant cries of pain filling the air.
A few stairs down and through a heavy iron door and they enter a chamber in which a Nalfeshnee lies on a bed covered with expensive yet putrid silks.

The Babau keeps a respectful distance happy to be not in the center of everxones attention.

"The warriors return... and you were sucessful. You even have slain that pesky Ysc'thelibo.... I never liked her. Slimey, ugly thing." He pauses to drink some steaming kiquid from his mug, sizes both up.

"Speaking of dead abyssal bitches... as you see Neefe is no longer in charge of this operation. Of course I will honour the promises made and pay you generously for your work."

He looks at the Babau. "Do you have what I told you to get, maggot?"

"Yes my Lord... I got what you told me from the temple's armoury.", he says and gives Maed a heavy bundle he hid inder his robes before giving Ganatog a mighty spear, covered with runes and humming with power.

"The wretched Harmonium will seek us now. If they have not cast this lot to the gutter rats own order." She muttered.

She followed the Babu with a straigthened back and helding her head high with a proud warriors bearing. Her metal soles clankering against the black marble tiles. Remaning silent and letting Ganatog do the talking.

When reaching the Nalfeshee she folded her hands behind her back. Not humbled by the intimidating sight she looked at him with a stern demeanor.

As the rewards was distributed she slung the bundel over her shoulder

The Jotun weighs the spear in his hand, impressed with the quality of the weapon. He would, of course, have it's enchantments checked for any curses before he would ever dream of using the thing in battle.

"It is well, Nalfeshnee. Those upstarts will be jumping at every bump in the night after that massacre." He pauses a moment to regard the fiend, stroking his fiery orange beard. "By the way...we have heard of some strange contraptions in use by these gangs. Extractors, me thinks. Would this great Temple know anything of such?"

"Painextractors, yes, yes. They are not common but not unknown to us. Their form and construction may vary but they all have the same purpose: to distill a creatures pain into the liquid known as Agony or Liquid Pain."

The fiend fumbles with its large hands to get a small vial from a table nearby and then tosses it casually to the giant, then another one to the winged woman.

Inside the glass vial is a thick, reddish fluid, its evil obvious somehow- in the way the vial feels, how this substance looks- it is clear that it is nothing natural.

"Useful as drug, for crafting and as conponent for certain spells and rituals.", the Nalfeshnee explains.

Catching the vial in her supple black half-opend guantlet. Holding it far from her canting it while her gold hued green eyes set on the reddish liquid trapped within the glass.

His ember-like eyes shimmer in the dark of the room as he studies the vial.

"Sounds versatile. And from what we saw in the hive, in great demand as well."

"It is both highly addictive and in useful for spellcasters or even cultists who only dabble in magic.", the Nalfeshnee says.

"The temple always makes sure to have a way to supply its needs... and you will find most drug dealers in Sigil have a stock as well. Its usefulness and versatility indeed leads to it being in very high demand."

Another morsel is picked and travely down the demon's gullet while still alive, the Babau staying in the background carefully.

She drew up a multitude of uses for the contains inside her mind but kept them to herself as the two hulking figures conversed. She knew this could be done through a spell, one she never could master herself. Turning her head slightly she briefly glanced at the Babu behind them Before she eturned her gaze to the Nalfeshnee.

Why do they use these crude machines when a spell could yield the same if not far superior result. Perhaps passing years have let this fallen into oblivion? Hardly these demons was likely the ones giving our empire the knowledge, these Machines they must make the havrest quicker, time are deared to them. Her musing was intterupted by the sudden proposition proclaimed by the firegiant.

"We live by war. Equipment that will enhance our capability is what we seek. Not confined to mere objects as weapons and arms however."

He nods at his lieutenant's statement

"Also, we sometimes find ourselves in need of more manpower in certain engagements. The service of some of your lesser demons in battle would be most welcome. Nothing in the Cage, of course. But in other planes..."
