((*butts in* I think that's just good for the roleplay if it occurs at an unexpected time xD... it was premonition with short time span, means they might not have time to mobilize who they want... if anything it sounds like you have urgency to improvise rather than get time to re-schedual for your own benefit. :rolleyes: ))

Earth is round, nothing can change that, but not always are everyone meant to be just like you ideally plan it... having to improvise and get out of your "comfort zone" means you'll have to find new ways to roleplay your character and adapt to the situation accordingly. Do I want to inspire such behavior? Yes.

I've missed dozens of events, they occur. Let them occur :P you can't be around always. Next time you might get event, but others don't. It's the way of persistent worlds.))

((I'm gonna stand with the DM on this, not everybody gets to partake in every event, its not like its gonna be the last and only one. some can make some can't. if dms waited so everyperson was available for an event we would only have 1 or 2 a year.))
