"Good to see you made it."
Emila seems to have been expecting to run into Xareth at some point. She follows her two undead inside.

"..."
She quickly descends on the other side, mostly ignoring the undead (but for Emmy!) as the controlled pets they are but offering a small but polite nod to the Dusties and the Red Wizard.
"I should not be surprised to find you here. You are looking for this.... giant as well? I fear I have not found out much in my investigations."

"If not we can make it talkative... I am sure. Patience and thorough asking always pays off."
She pats the pouch made of flayed skin on her left thigh and they might get a glimpse of a small collection of knives, needes, pliers and other tools of torture- all engraved with the mercykiller's crest.

Before they head inside the open mound, Mashano invokes a defensive ward in preparation for the tight quarters inside. His form becomes wavery and insubstantial, taking on a ghostly visage. His voice is now wavery and hollow, as if spoken from a deep well.
"I'll leave my bandaged friend out here on watch. Even a giant-kin should find it hard to break his grasp once grappled, especially if fleeing from inside in a hurry... besides, it's getting a bit crowded with all these walking dead about." Hard to tell with the distortion of the spell, but the old Thayan seems to cast a wink Emila's way.

They are greeted by furrowed rock, wavy and smooth under their feet. Above them is a pattern-woven mesh of living vines shaped into many triskeles. Moving, pulsating holding the earthwork over it. Moist from the massive mass of dirt slithered along the greyish green stems of the vines until they trickled down. 16 feet ahead of them they see a ledge. A hole in the center emitting a eerie light rubbing the mesh of vines dabbling it with a cluster of blue-white dots as where it cast by light redunding from a pool or other water source. Looking over the edge they would see a large uneartly tree at the base. It swayed as if a gentle but steady breeze ran through it. It's glass like long leaves shone brigtly blue as if it was made from shards of the moon albeit more transparent. A few tranclucent ruby red globes large as a mans hand could be seen within the boughs. Vines was covering the rock surrounding it, an easy climb it would seem. Peering straightdown they would see Emilas minions dismanteled into pieces which was strung up aat various height.

Emila contemplates the reason why living things must always get in her way. No one has put her in charge of this little expedition but she is going to try issuing orders anyway. She turns to Mashano.
"There is something in the vegetation up there. Burn it please."

The moment Xar invoked her powers the mass started to writhe creeping agaisnt them from below, lashing violently from above dropping and trying to ensnare their limbs. From the hole in the ground protruded a multitude of fast growing vines dimming the light source substantially.
((Sorry was very unclear with that description. The light source came from the hole in the ground before them and lit the "roof" of vines above them.))
((Reflex along with the counter measures guys.))
