"Office." the morose reply followed, "I wish to discuss the fate of relic that is of interest to me. Aside from other things of importance."

For a moment, there was a stiff tension in the air. If one was attentive enough, someone nearby could hear sound of gritting teeth coming from the drow.

He extends an arm in an inviting gesture then leads her to the small room she already knows, the place he uses as his office. Closing the door behind them he invites her to sit, preparing a cup of coffee for both of them.

"You seem tense. What happened?"

The dark elf entered the room, following polite gesture. She took a seat, crossing her legs, waiting for her host to settle himself. When he was ready, drow looked at the human, the still red eyes giving a hint of appreciation for drink, but not for long.

"I wanted to discuss what happened to holy relic from expedition in Hades. There were too many complications and more unexpected details than I counted on."

"It has been found as has been the dagger sacred to my faith. Both relics have been combined by some unknown player... I am not sure if this was the Ur-Priest's doing.

The adventurer who retrieved it promised to deliver it to the Champion of Eilistraee.

Deel'nathraeel- stays at the Golden Bariaur.

As far as I know the relic was unspoiled, pure. The dark places it was hidden at did not corrupt it."

Sipping the coffe and hearing the news gradually removed red glow from the irises, and there was gratitude and satisfaction seen in blue orbs.

"Hmmm, maybe he is genuine one... I will still check the ... Golden Bariaur? That sounds familiar... Oh, well... It is very hard to corrupt artifact of goddess that avoided corruption for generations to come..."

Eyes looked up at the cleric, the brow raised.

"Wait... What do you mean, combined?"

"He was not tainted by evil himself. I checked." Colus allows himself a rare smile, sips from his own cup.

"And yes. I heard that the dagger and gem have been combined, their power strong enough to keep a bunch of fiends at bay. To be honest i was not even aware this is possible."

The sudden surprise news brought out long train of thoughts. Sillxhistraja had many knowledge of magic and secrets of arcana, even if she lacked religious training. But is that really impossible feat? What if there is some kind of secret that is not just limited to might of deities?

"That's... Interesting."

Dark elf woke up from contemplation, looking again at the priest.

"I must find out about gem as soon as possible..."

Her eyes lowered to the cup in her hand. "Coalburn... Colus... I apologize."

"Apologize? For what?"

He smiles, sets his cup down, looks over at her.

"We all are who and what we are.... we do not have to apologize for that."

Kneeling in the ash he cluched the blade so hard blood began to trickle down between his fingers a few droplets trailing along the edge while others fell straight down. The ash greedily drank the crimson pearls of blood.

His extremeties had since long gone numb from want of heat. His eyes affixed to the blade listening, attuning to the connection to deepen even further. Stone-like horns started to protrude from his body as he wexed in size taking a similar colour as the finely grained ash. Taking the form of a horned devil to boost his resilience he walked with a rigid gait towards the tower still visible above the dunes. Hearing his own heartbeat grow slower with each step. The blade feelt more as dragging a anvil despite the strenght of the stolen shape but he would rather affix it in his flesh than let it fall from his hand.

((Unless something happen on the way.))Gruelling as it was he waddled into the entrence assuming his own human shape leaving footprints of ash while wandering into the gate taking him back into the Armoury. Heading straight to the great forge where the sweltering air warmed his drained body. Pondering as he watched the reflections of the flames dancing in the surface of the blade, without hiding it from the sight of others. He needed to test this on a living subject he decided.

The nails drummed on he wood of table with tinkle.

"Speaking of those who are... I still have no idea what Derl wanted to do by setting up the paladin. I think I will ask him about this. Is he free right now?"
