Brindas copies down the contents of the page, both scribbled notes detailing information on the succubus itself and the tome's original content on the nature of the succubus and how summoning such a fiend works.
The ancient pages of parchment bob on the surface for a short moment before the alchemical solution seeps into it's weave and slowly drags it to the trays bottom. After a moment, the fresher of the inks begins to lift from the page in murky, blackened tendrils to further expose a small section of the handwritten notes in the placement of the original tome's spine.
Alas, as the fresher ink drifted toward the solution's surface to bare the writing beneath so too did the original transcript warp and fade on the parchment, lifting to follow in it's tracks within moments. Despite the fact that the sheets of parchment are now blank, removed of both stain and scribed text, the surface itself seems completely unaffected.
