The Undren's Missing?

Mortimal shakes his head, "Looks like your guards have failed us Luna. Very well. The sisters live for now but we will come for them again. Please enjoy the enlightenment."

Mortimal laughs and waves a hand and the party finds themselves in the cave outside the Abyss. Crystalis moves in a blur. Her hair fills her face hiding it from the party. Saphhira likewise has her face hidden beneath her hair. Crys flips Emmy over putting a coin on her forehead. Doing so reveals ebon skin and elf like features. Emmy is bigger than normal, taller, and looking nothing like a Halfling anymore. Crys releases the magic of the coin and Emmy's eyes shoot open. Instead of red they are green once more. Emmy sees Crys and looks momentarily shocked. She then looks over and sees Jall and her lips twist sadly. Crys and Saph both look up revealing their ebon skin and elven features as well.

"Well now you know our secret," she states sadly knowing what was to come next.

*shrinking back to hin form as she lands in the abyss cave, Jall seems out of it , hugging her trembling self, aimlessly gazing, confused as everything happened too fast for her to accept promptly, eyes red and weeping, speechlessly looking the three sisters over slowly*

*she looks in those green eyes searching for any sign of recognition*

Jall recognizes Emmy. Her features might be different, eye color different, but looking there she sees into Emmy's eyes and knows it's her?

*she slumps drawing a long sigh*

''at least you're not something with tentacles or fur...'' *smirks faintly. she stands wobbling a bit then goes to hug her.*

Emmy looks shocked but hugs Jall back. Emmy is short for her kind as are Crys and Saph.

"I told you she'd accept you." Saph says.

Crys notices Dace and rises snapping to attention with military precision, "Sir!" She snaps off a neat salute.

*jall squeezes her in the hug some more, weeping away the last tears and looks in her eyes again. then scowls angrily for some moments*

''so what's this story about? mind i've been angry since the start of all this and sadly i couldnt kill none of those fuckers because they got away, or rather, they let us go, so dont tease me wrongly...''

Emmy bites her lip before starting, "Well obviously my sister's and I are but Halfling. We're Orsha. There wasn't a strong liking for our kind, even those who turned our backs on our culture. Ah but you probably mean Mortimal and the others. Truth be told they should be dead. They must have had enough energy left to reform in the Astral. Good news is they are severely weakened. Bad news is they can get the power back if they take out the gatekeepers guarding access to The Source. Namely me and my sister's. They obviously caught us by surprise. That won't be happening again. Thanks for coming for us everyone."

"Our parents made us take on Halfling form as teenagers," Crys offers.

"After they sent Emmy away a lot of questions were asked when no body was produced," Saph continues, "We hid in a Halfling village of Freeborn for a while until it was attacked. by Ssissians. Our parents didn't make it and Crys and I got separated."

"We lived with it so long that it was easier to continue the facade then to reveal our true selves. Others from Aesyr still lived here. Most have moved on but we were sure how they'd react." Emmy finishes with a heavy sigh, "I'm sorry we deceived all of you."

*jall huffs , shrugging*

''is more the fact i got accustomed to have you as halfling, than the lie itself, which i can understand. but that image of you partially shattered now...'' *rubs forehead looking at emmy, then shrugs again with a small sigh* ''oh well, let's go back home for now'' *offers emmy her hand *

*Emmy takes Jall's hand and gets to her feet.*

"I still have a home with you then? I wouldn't blame you if you," Emmy swallows hard, "Wished me to leave."
