Decending from his place in the back rows, vale proceeds pass around several rolled up news papers amongst the bickering crowds of Factioneers, Gesturing the ones who get the papers to two specific articles, in an attempt to lighten the mood in the hall, all of this naturally done with out interrupting the hearings.

As the round of discontent and jeering echos through the hall, another uncertain glance is passed toward Factol Montgomery. While visibly uncomfortable with the prospect of addressing the large crowd, the meek sensate factor rises to his feet, intent on making at least some some stance for his faction. There are a few stuttering attempts to speak before drawing a deep breath. Finally he begins his address properly.
"W-we, as factions, are entrusted with upholding certain tasks to ensure the continued function of civilized society with in the cage. These duties often take precedence over individual agendas. Is it not true that through this vague degree of trust and cooperation that many of us enjoy the freedom and stability necessary to pursue the higher ideals of each of our factions?
The Society of Sensation feels that both the accusations which have been brought up by the delegation are of legitimate concern. That said, While this discussing of dereliction of civic duties is certainly worth investigating, the concerns of open warmongering are by far the most pressing issue presented as it indicates a potential attempt to endanger our collective works.
We will reserve our opinion on what should be done about these matters until we have seen and heard all of the evidence for ourselves."
Statement made, he immediately returns to his seat.

Despite Fintan's words, there was grumbling amongst the Signers. Dirty looks were cast in the direction of the Doomguard, to be sure, but also towards the Harmonium. Darius, however, looked as composed as before.
Meanwhile, in scattered corners of the hall, snickers could be heard as various namers got bored and decided to turn to SIGIS for entertainment instead.
In the midst of the lull between speakers, the Fated namer returned to the hall, passing a sheaf of papers to Factor Rhistel.

Aleis had offered a bit of applause for her factor as he finished speaking. Even if it wasn't everything she wanted said, Quinn had exceeded her expectations.
Once the Grey Sensate had returned to his seat Aleis leaned in to whisper a quick, "Good job!"

Theres a placid expression tossed the way of the Sensates at the Signers side and then silent cluck of his tongue.
Harmonium will get their due in time as well. We are aware they are not fully innocent, but if we focus one issue first, we can move to the next. They should be brought up as separate case I imagine to not confuse the lines otherwise we will be here a long time.

Quinn flinches as their factol speaks up. Flicking away bit of tomato left over from the chaos, he mumbles a quiet protest.

Once the calm was set, Factor Ta'Kan moved to the podium to make her statement.
"The Believers of the Source share the concerns expressed by both the Sensates and Fated representatives. We shall reiterate that we do care about the well-being and the stability of Sigil and its denizens. However, we came today without presumptions of anyone's guilt as we know the two factions involved have always been relentlessly at odds.
While the Triad is allowed to exercise justice and punishment and should be effectively able to do its duty to the best of its abilities, we also wish to remind that they are not infallible and that errors, misunderstandings and the abuses of a few individualsÂ’ can easily harm the confidence of many and create a climate of scepticism.
The same can be said about the Doomguard. They have been entrusted with the guard of the Armoury as a mean to create a balance of forces that many of the factions present in this room desire because they understand that the existence of a power of opposition is sometimes beneficial, but this power also means great responsibilities, a fact that seems to be often ignored in the name of personal ambition and relentless behaviour.
We wish to witness and hear the truth and see a proper punishment brought to those who have threatened the peace of the cage, but we are also fairly concerned that this rightful desire for justice may eventually shatter its balance and we will oppose any excessive sanction.
As to the fate of the bazaar, I wish to hear the thoughts of the silent majority who owns it. Maybe some deem their voice unworthy and weightless, but it’ll be irresponsible as a government to alienate a million of indeps by enforcing upon them a decision or keep a status quo they may not desire and we are calling for a veto regarding this issue until they had a chance to properly express themselves.”
