Garen would turn to this new development

"This summit was requested as a voluntary meeting to discuss issues that may be creating tensions between us. it isn't a council meeting nor is it mandatory. It is professional people sitting and discussing matters. What difference will a change in venue make? I'm sure the same disagreements will be made no matter where we sit. Is the honourable Factor so uncomfortable that he needs a different venue to speak his mind?"

"Nah, I just fail to see the reason why ye even call this a summit..."

Constructive dialog, Factor. Sitting and talking with those you may not agree with to create a bit of calm and a bit of ease, perhaps even heal a few wounds. It's better than doing nothing and simply listening to complaints whispered through rumor mills.

"Then Garen, please, do some moderation and lets continue into something constructive. The doomguard have a legitimate concern, they where baited and provoked and the matter is still unsettled. I made a proposition along with the Senates it was lost in all the toxicity that followed. We came here expecting you to rule the whole conversation like if we where in a tribunal, if some people cannot behave put them back in their place. Otherwise yes, this should continue in the hall of speakers"

Factor Sixthfinger speaks up again from her reclining position.

"Ye know, given tha' tha Doomguard 'ere be jes' barely avoidin outrigh' threats o' war over tha issue a' hand here...I'm thinkin tha' workin this issue o' Triad armaments out kinda takes precedence o'er debatin where we oughta be parkin our rears for the remainder o' this meetin."

///we really should give Mauric a chance to respond before demanding that nothing is being done. I'm pretty sure he's not standing there, mouth agape, while people argue about his demands ;)

The dark elf Charae read a note she received from a Godsmen aide. She winked at Maelfina and slipped the note away before addressing the group as a whole.

"Please allow Mauric to speak his response. Also, everyone please remember why we are here and who we are. We're not children and this was a voluntary summit as Garen said. If you came here, you agreed to the location."

She then shifted her attention to Mauric.

Kala shook her head again at Charae's word and behavior, then wrote another word she gave to a Godsmen namer who got out of the building.

Charae said nothing, indicating she didn't support the notion.

Kiera listens to most, with a bored expression, until the notion of banning any form of crafting or trade comes up, bringing a harsh glint to her eye.

"Banning crafting would lead to others wanting a monopoly on other trades 'for the common good'" she says the last with mild derision. "I don't think that's a path we should be exploring."
