Just before anti-peak, a large explosion erupted in the Hive inside the tavern known as The Foggy Stein. The fire and smoke cloud shot up high into the skies, the flames being an odd mixture of color and the smoke blanketing the ward until it dissipated hours later.

Rumors suggest that the Harmonium were responding to a robbery inside the tavern just before the bomb went off. Several planeswalkers drawn to the scene by the explosion quickly rushed into the building and managed to retrieve three trapped Harmonium. Unfortunately one of the hardheads was killed in the blast.

It's speculated that the Chaosmen were behind the attack, though the Harmonium have yet to file any formal accusation. It may also have been anarchists, but no one is certain at this time.

It had been weeks since the explosion rocked the Hive and the dust had settled. The rumble of fallen masonry and the cacophony of the fire, the litter of debris and the columns of thick smoke - it had been terrible. It scored more than just the dead stone and ash of Sigil's earth. Somewhere, a spirit in Sigil heard something. Dazed and tired, it took too long for her to crawl from her resting place and walk the streets once more. By the time she realised what had happened, there was nothing but the memory of violence.

Now Kasha knelt amidst what remained of The Foggy Stein, between the brickwork and fallen timbers that had not been requisitioned by The Lady's hands. It was in the Hive, where the polluted wind once whistled and the eyes of the streets followed her whenever she left her former garden. It was as much a grove to Kasha as the glens of Perthshire had once been.

She had known this building. It was a good building.

"What happened to you," she mumbled. The melancholy spirit ran a hand through chips of stone and drifts of scorched filth. "It's okay. It's okay. Shhh. I'm here now. Tell me what happened."

Yet it wasn't a good building, or perhaps it was at one point before becoming a husk of a memory, a den of debauchery and violence where the downtrodden of the Hive turned their little coin into drink and substance, an existence put to rest by fire and smoke.

Now, nothing more than rubble and ash, the place whispered of the sins and pain that once infested its walls. It stank of alchemicals, a red haze that filled the bowels of the tavern before the fire had cleansed it. It speaks of men in masks creating concoctions that promised the heavens from the Hells itself and those that suffered in addiction's grip.

Just a smoldering ruin now, still and forgotten with the hope of being rebuilt into something better.
